I made small versions of these to place in our daughters harry potter themed 11th birthday party bags for her friends. The kids loved them. Thank you so much for sharing.
Nice job! I love how you made the legs and added your own personal touch to it. To be honest, I love your design much more than the licensed ones. WB really should hire you!! 💁 Thank you for the video! ⚡❤⚡
This is awesome! I love the new little legs for the box ♥ Also, for those interested, in the movie you can see that the box is hold closed with a little red tassel. Making a tassel is super easy, if you want to try that!
You are my kinda nerd! I have been trying to make these boxes since I saw the first movie, and the template you used looks almost exactly like one I tried to draw from my imagination-legs and all. Thank you so much for this DIY!
I was literally just thinking today how I hope you make a templet for the Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour Beans soon!!! I guess great minds think alike, lol
I really like details on your templates like these legs or on the marauder's map where you did footprints and this missing page you are doing a great job and you let people use it for free you are amazing
@DannyMcMurray I didn't see the paper you used on your list. Did you buy it with the silver on one side or did you paint it? If you bought it, where did you find it? If you painted it, what kind of paint did you use?
How many oz of jelly beans can this hold? It doesn’t have to be filled to the brim, but enough to look full. Trying to buy the appropriate amount for 30 boxes and don’t want to end up having too much left over. Thanks!
Great template and tutorial! I would also like to second @kimhuff 's question about where to get the cardstock with the gold/silver on one side. My google search is coming up empty for a one-sided version. Would greatly appreciate where we could order some of the same that you used. XoXo Thanks for everything!
Actually, your edition of Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans is the special bad flavor only version. There is a smaller packet that has both good and bad flavors.
Am I the only one that knows their is a small red string tassel on top of the Bertie Botts? If you watch the train clip properly, after seeing scabbers in the box, Harry pulls the tassel off to try one and then takes it out of his mouth when Ron explains about George finding a bogey flavoured one once 😅
Hi! Danny, I have designed an owl exam paper with the help of some reference photos in photoshop. I have also designed the results of the owl exams. If you are interested please do let me know.
You stuff is amazing! Thank you so much for sharing! I'm love that you've added some files to use with the Cricut, as I was thinking when watching some of your older ones that you need to get one. ;) However, I downloaded the files & the ones for the Cricut don't have the design on them, it's just black. Am I supposed to print the pdf, cut that out & then glue it to the file that the Cricut has scored & cut?
It's not set up for print then cut. You need to print it on its own, then use the cricut cut shape to cut it out. The reason for this is, 1) the file has to be printed doible-sided, and 2) the print then cut option uses some of the print area on the page to print a thick black border and we need more of the print area for the design. Also, print then cut is not very accurate.
Wouldn't it have been easier to jsut use the Xacto knife to cut out the windows? 🤷♂️ And I'm not sure where you're buying your Bertie Bott's Beans, but you can definitely get boxes that contain a mix of the good AND bad flavors together. Doesn't have to be a box of all bad flavors.
The windows have more difficult designs to cut - not simple squares - so an x-acto knife doesn't work well. A swivel blade could be an option. The best choice is a Cricut or Silhouette. Also, the local store that sells Bertie Botts only has the nasty kind.
Check your print settings. Did you select the paper type? Your printer might not be able to handle the thickness of the paper. In that case, print it on plain paper and glue it to the silver sided paper.
@@wizardryworkshop Are you more familiar now with how to upload to the design space. I am not sure exactly how to use the cricut file that you have here.
@@wizardryworkshop What are the dimensions for these files? I printed the file, measured that, and adjusted the file in Design Space accordingly, but it's still not lining up correctly. I know it won't be perfect, but it's no where near close either. Planning on using these for a party and need to make about 50, and would prefer using the Cricut to do most of the work.
Hi, Danny! I'm not receiving the MuggleMagic.net password reset email. I just put my email and click on the "Reset my password" button and don't get the mail. I've already checked my spam list. Could you help me?
Hey, sorry I just noticed this comment. What is the email address you used to register? If you don't want to post it here you can email me at danny@mugglemagic.net.
@Patricia mariluce Artur Pierre that won't really look like a movie replica. And it will take way more time and effort especially if you're making more than one, like for a party.
I made small versions of these to place in our daughters harry potter themed 11th birthday party bags for her friends. The kids loved them. Thank you so much for sharing.

Did you end up finding it? I couldn’t either.
Great video!! Keep those templates coming!
Are you painting the back of the paper silver or did you buy it that way?
Make a wand holster.
Thank you soo soo muh for this one Danny!! I love every of your videos!!
I’ve used the dull side of a pair of scissors to score. Then used the handle of the scissors to reinforce the fold
Do you have a link for the paper you used with the shiny side?
Another great DIY! Thank you for sharing!

Can you make a ministry of magic folder re-release.....
What paper is that? That have silver back
Do you have any videos or tips on using your files with the cricut? I'm having a hard time getting everything sized and lined up.

Can't download the template please help!!
Como se fecha?
Have you put the design into Design Space for the Cricut? Is it a print & cut design?
It's not a print and cut. You'll want to print it first and then load the cut and score templates into design space separately.
@@wizardryworkshop you CAN share your designs with other Cricut users on DS

when does the 40k giveaway end? yesterday it was closed for me (??)
Yeah, it ended before the channel hit 40k so I had to extend it another week. It will end as soon as the 40k mark is hit - less than 200 subs to go!
The cricut version is all black. Am I doing something wrong?
I believe you are looking at the cricut cut shape.
@@wizardryworkshop is there a colored version to get the Cricut to cut it?
Yes, the download includes the template (full color) and the cut shape, which is a black shape.
Every time I try instructubles it says page not found
Oh! i thought it would be the actual beans
I can't access the template, it keeps saying Error page not found.
Try again, it should work now.
