Did you like imagine dragons Origins album more or less than the Believer album? I am a fan of there's personally. Ido understand that they have a lot of misses,but they also have a lot of hits for me. I enjoyed the Origins all invited overall. Obviously songs like stuck and mabye a couple more are misses. I do however like a lot of them.
What about that song BEBE, the one that was entirely in Spanish and has kind of a Latin flavor to it? It really surprised me, just because of how massively different it is from other 6ix9ine songs. Even though I don't really agree with the message (I know it's in Spanish, but I translated it), because he's still an abusive, scumbag human being, but the song still has a decent instrumental if you like Latin music. (Just my opinion, I don't like the Scum Gang or Esskeetit, don't hate me)
Lena with a Box Oh no I absolutely despise Maroon 5's part of it altogether even before they put Cardi on. When they did put her on I was still annoyed because they were just trying to chart and Cardi B was doing it for the check. I don't even mind the verse but it was such a commercial move from both parties Idek what I was expecting from them. Especially Maroon 5 who have done this for so long now it's not surprising.

Now I do live in the US South, so there's a higher probability that the stores around here don't play this crap, but I live in a suburb of a major city which is a bit more "cosmopolitan" than others, so we're not in the sticks. Plus I travel a lot around the US. I'm just happy I haven't heard this shite regularly.

Scorching Cliffs I'm only 18 but I swear kids only a year or two younger than me have absolutely no taste in music. They are the ones who make those shitty fucking rap songs chart instead of something more respectable like Kendrick Lamar or Anderson Paak. Johnny1248 Well for one thing I LOVE the instrumental and over time it’s just grown on me even more with how catchy the song is. IMO it’s top three of the singles they’ve released for the album.

It's a shame that people like Cardi B and Lil Uzi or whatever his name is are considered by the industry as "role models" but yet someone like Devin Townsend isn't even though he plays multiple instruments, writes meaningful lyrics, sings infinitely better than 99% of pop artists, isn't egomanical and greedy, is a humble and kkind person, and is an example of a guy who, even through adversity, still managed to come out stronger than ever. HE should be a role model.
i think tootime is supposed to be cheesy tbh, like the album is all about reflecting on how the internet alters our view of love and relationships and what’s cheating and what isn’t, so the whole song is making fun of how big of a deal merely calling your exes is in this day and age. i think tootime and the sound are both songs that are self aware in that they’re tacky, but there’s some rhetoric to all the cheesiness

@@EmmyV2002 There was a documentary that was called "The Decline of Civilization: The Metal Years" that documented about the lifestyle of glam metal. People saw toward this at how lame these guys are when it came to musicality and they started to have a disliking towards them.

There’s still good artists releasing music consistently, it’s not even necessarily hard to find them. Probably a mediocre suggestion at this point, but Brockhampton released a great album this year in my opinion, and it’s not all homogeneous.
ElleM4Music well if you’re really passionate about music then the percentage of music out there that is great shouldn’t matter, because you’d only be looking through that percent that’s good. I never get recommended shitty stuff on Spotify by now because all I listen to is the fresh passionate artists that love making great music and want others to hear it.
I’ve always thought that “TOOTIME” was meant to be bad. For a band like the 1975, the song sounds like it’s mocking pop music more than giving in. Even in the music video as everyone is dressed in a certain aesthetic, Matty stands their most of the time looking kind of out of place and like he doesn’t want to be there. So maybe the song sounding really bad and like pop IS the point, but who knows, that’s just how I see it

This was a fun list to watch. I love the end of year lists. The worst lists often make me laugh because I will have missed what was popular this year, while the best lists give a chance for me to discover new artists.
What I don’t inderstand is why these people make millions of dollars. Like they are aweful role models with terrible lyrics and music that they do not put any effort into and they are real jerks in real life. I wish that some lesser known bands/ artists got this type of attention. Like take tye band waterparks for example (i know I probably look like a stan cuz of my profile pic but they are just a good examle of what I am talking about), they have very clever and sweet lyrics about being in love, not just wanting sex, but being in love... almost unheard of on the radio these days. They are original and come up with their own stuff rather than just copying the same background beat like every single modern rapper. Also besides the fast that the music is better and more clever, they are just overall better roll models. Awsten doesn’t even drink and like a mentioned previously their lyrics don’t involve just loving a girl because you want sex. But yet all of these aweful human beings with aweful, unoriginal music make millions but yet smaller artists like this don’t get nearly the recognition that they diserve. We definitely need a music revolution because what is currently being played all around us and it has gotten to the point where i prefer silence to this “music” ( aka trash) because at every party, gathering, game, hype up playlist, this aweful music is being played and it i just can’t stand it.

It's a shame that people like Cardi B and Lil Uzi or whatever his name is are considered by the industry as "role models" but yet someone like Devin Townsend isn't even though he plays multiple instruments, writes meaningful lyrics, sings infinitely better than 99% of pop artists, isn't egomanical and greedy, is a humble and kkind person, and is an example of a guy who, even through adversity, still managed to come out stronger than ever. HE should be a role model.

i think tootime is supposed to be cheesy tbh, like the album is all about reflecting on how the internet alters our view of love and relationships and what’s cheating and what isn’t, so the whole song is making fun of how big of a deal merely calling your exes is in this day and age. i think tootime and the sound are both songs that are self aware in that they’re tacky, but there’s some rhetoric to all the cheesiness

I’ve always thought that “TOOTIME” was meant to be bad. For a band like the 1975, the song sounds like it’s mocking pop music more than giving in. Even in the music video as everyone is dressed in a certain aesthetic, Matty stands their most of the time looking kind of out of place and like he doesn’t want to be there. So maybe the song sounding really bad and like pop IS the point, but who knows, that’s just how I see it

What I don’t inderstand is why these people make millions of dollars. Like they are aweful role models with terrible lyrics and music that they do not put any effort into and they are real jerks in real life. I wish that some lesser known bands/ artists got this type of attention. Like take tye band waterparks for example (i know I probably look like a stan cuz of my profile pic but they are just a good examle of what I am talking about), they have very clever and sweet lyrics about being in love, not just wanting sex, but being in love... almost unheard of on the radio these days. They are original and come up with their own stuff rather than just copying the same background beat like every single modern rapper. Also besides the fast that the music is better and more clever, they are just overall better roll models. Awsten doesn’t even drink and like a mentioned previously their lyrics don’t involve just loving a girl because you want sex. But yet all of these aweful human beings with aweful, unoriginal music make millions but yet smaller artists like this don’t get nearly the recognition that they diserve. We definitely need a music revolution because what is currently being played all around us and it has gotten to the point where i prefer silence to this “music” ( aka trash) because at every party, gathering, game, hype up playlist, this aweful music is being played and it i just can’t stand it.
