There’s another way much easier… instead of going through the carts with the explosives you can go right, carefully drop down the pit until you get to the bottom where the worms will pop out, go up the ladder twice and break the stones covering the tunnels entrance. This will get you right where the Dragon Longsword is… But great walkthrough

I'm not even using it, I didn't realize it's a good weapon, I'm using the crescent falchion +2 I think
You don’t have have to kill that second bug bear, just go left instead of straight and you can avoid it

Really one of the best weapons for first playthrough. Fast and quite powerful, with great stunlock potential. Spamming R1 just works with this weapon :). Too bad it doesn't scale with stats.
What u mean doesnt scale stats? Like it wont have bonus+ or ur attack power? sorry im new in souls game trying to learn since the game doesnt explain $&$& about stats and all that
@@brayantorres9793 dragon weapons have just fire damage. For example crushing scales of strength, blessed scales of faith. Dragon weapons don't they just have fire damage regardless of your stats

1:54 the exploding carts, you can just run past all 3 of them, as they each take 1 second to explode

@@AshenOneGaming Also if stamina is short, say for a magic build, run past the 1st cart, it should have some extra time before you reach the 2nd and 3rd cart, walk for a bit, let stamina regenerate, then run past 2nd and 3rd cart altogether.

You can just run past the exploding carts. You only have to pay attention to not getting run over by them.

I'm really enjoying my ps5 a lot more than series x ,its great to have all my 360 and one games backwards and the stupid quick loading just the ps5 is giving me a lot more funs .thank you for the video 🙏
I just wish you could use the Xbox controller on PS5 :(. BTW - get yourself Dark Souls 3 on the Xbox. But it's kinda harda' :)

You can actually just sprint past the exploding carts. As long as you keep sprinting past them, you'll be out of range from the blast.
I don't think that works anymore, someone said the same thing with the dragon.

I decided to finally play the souls series and started with the ps3 version. I just happened upon this sword exploring and boy its a game changer. Luckily I am not far in so I did get this pretty early. This game is remarkable as a blind playthrough, not knowing whats around a corner...feels like an actual adventure.

Why do I feel like when I or anyone else tries this the bear bug will magically be aggressive af and have 3 attacks that won’t even let u get close maybe I’m wrong but idk these situations always seem so laxed on DS videos

You can actually run right past the mine carts. They don't explode until you've passed

You can run straight past the carts. You can even walk..it's pretty delayed...won't hit you
At the exploding minecarts, If you stick to the wall and book it like crazy you'll be able to get through without any of the explosions hitting you

Ha no worries man. I'm trying to gauge how many new/newish players there might be to the game. Wondering if it's worth looking at each boss and the various strategies/cheeses/glitches to make them easier, regardless how well they have been known since the original game in 2009. PS5 has been out for over a year and I still can’t find one
For me its easier to play with than the cresent falchion because of the great heavy attack
God I need help with this game. I’m a Barbarian with the broadsword. Stuck on the Tower King no falchion - too hard to get!

I accidentally upgraded my dragon sword with the wrong stone. Now it’s lost the fire effect. How do I get my longsword with fire again?
As someone who is playing this and mainly using this sword for everything. You said in your video it's best early to mid game. So what similar weapon could I move towards for late game that has better damage and isn't slow as hell? I picked up Dragon Bone Smasher but it takes half my stamina bar to swing and it's slow, I'm not a huge fan.

I got the Demonbrandt sword, but can't increase my character tendency to pure white. The damage seems kinda low to me. Should I go for this sword instead? I'm still fairly early on.

If you make ur world tendency go up it does so much damage

Yes, but. The Dragonlong sword only scales with it’s rank. Eg. +1 to +5. Your intelligence, magic and faith stats (or any other stat for that matter) won’t boost it’s physical nor it’s fire damage. It’s just a good sword to get early on and get levelled up. It will work wonders against enemies weak to fire for quite a long time in a play through 😊
Better off using Crescent or Moon weapons for mages.

Hello,i just got the ancient king's armor set andd weapon but my dmg is still the same,there was no boost in dmg,btw i got the attributes to use the weapon but still doing same dmg like normal weapon any help pls ?

It’s always +1 you have the level it up :)
@@AshenOneGaming Ahhh ok. I thought the one you picked up was +5. When I watched your clip again, I realised that it was only +1 when you picked it up. I'm currently trying to reinforce it, but having trouble finding Dragonstone chunks.

Dragon stone mate. And it can all be farmed along this run pretty much. Bugbears (fat fire slugs and flying ones) drop shards, large shards and chunks and you can pick up more in that lava cave just before the sword :)

Ha now that is a great question. Depends on your build and stats really. For my build it’s Royalty class with Insanity Catalyst, Talisman of Beasts and certain spells like Firestorm. Crested Falchion +5 for first play through as my melee weapon. This changes to blue blood sword later on. The blue blood sword is really interesting, can be one of the biggest hitters in the game. Scales with your luck stat lol
@@AshenOneGaming im a normal knight type B. build is End stamina Str dex, Im stuck at the old hero, cant get past those 2 3/4 black phantoms

@@goat3600 so Demonbrandt has better maxed stats and when used to create Northern Regalia goes even further. The Dragonlong sword is a really good Early/Mid game sword. Easy to upgrade but toward end game it starts becoming weak. You will need pure white character tendency with demonbrandt to get the most out of it :)

How come when I picked it up, it was only at 91 physical and fire damage instead of 151?
He showed the weapon at level +5, which had 151 dmg each category. When you pick it up, it's level +1.
So at level 5 is when the sword burn the enemies?
No no it just does it as soon as you get it! 😀

@@rdvlady crested Falchion :) it causes bleed, scales amazingly with magic so you can level it and get stat boost and it restores your MP just when wielded 😀💪

I can’t upgrade it there is no option?
So you won’t be able to upgrade it from the Nexus Blacksmith. You have to use the blacksmith in World 2-1 Smithing Grounds. I’m guessing you’ve have access to this blacksmith? Blacksmith Ed is his name :) Upgrades with Dragonstone found throughout World 2

So technically there’s no point in crafting one?
Not if you can just go and grab a +1 version for nothing. The bear bugs can be farmed for dragon stone and chunks and you can get chunks and pure dragon stone in the lava cave just before the sword. So +5’ing it is pretty straightforward 👍

You’ll soon find you can run through the game easy and test different builds etc. I have a few more vids on my channel to help you through and I am just preparing a vid on ‘Best Spells how to get’ and a vid for ‘early rings you can get’ 😊
