It's crazy how slow they move as a company. They have completely missed the handheld gaming renaissance that has been ushered in by the Steam Deck. How they managed to overlook that is beyond me, and even more ridiculous that they won't have anything out for multuple years, by which time most gamers will have chosen one of the existing devices Rog/SteamDeck/Legion Go/claw etc
It could be PS5 Pro or PS6 with Dock mode and Undock mode

If the launch is like 2 years out then by the time this comes out it should have a chipset that is powerful enough to play PS5 games natively.
Steam Deck/OLED and other PC handhelds already can
If it's gonna release in 2 years, it's likely going to be overshadowed by the Steam Deck 2

The hells the difference? One is touch screen one isnt. Thats it.
@@kaneromer4890 not talking about hardware! Talking from the game library point of view! PSP was, imo, far better than the vita! That's why I hope it will be a true PSP successor!

As much as I want a PSP2, it's probably gonna be as worthless/useless as their home consoles. There's no point in getting it if I can just play those games on a legitimate platform (PC/SteamDeck)
Consoles have no value outside of portability and exclusivity. Only Nintendo has both

@@8bits_channelthe title alone is clickbait af for something that is likely to never leave dev hell. Sony f'ed on psp and vita life cycles, and it was clear they were not into investing further on the mobile scene. One of the main reasons the switch had such success was literally having no competition. After that we got the steam deck, and everyone is now finally jumping the mobile wagon. Except for sony and ms.
