In case someone is reading from abroad, this road is closed for the year, thus do not plan for it.
Nice video David, it's nearly as hairy as the Hardnott and Wrynose pass 😮
Thanks, as always, for watching! 🙌
In July, 2023 I had the pleasure of visiting Norway, the most beautiful country in my opinion in Europe, and the trip it was the most wonderful vacation of my life.
The wonderful Trollstigen road was part of the group travel itinerary (organized by a tourist company from Budapest).
It was an amazing experience.
Sorry for my English . 😊
Your English is fine! Thanks for the comment, and thanks for watching 🙌
I saw this last August when a bad storm blocked some of the roads to Bergen because the river flooded and trees were down along the main road. We had to take this way as a detour, and what incredible views!
What a fantastic detour this must have been! More than makes up for the inconvenience! Thanks for watching 🙌
AMAZING place ❤
It sure is! Amazing views from the top and an interesting experience driving up. Thanks for watching 🙌
Went there last summer. Unfortunately once we arrived, we learned that there had been an accident where a motorcyclist got hit by falling rocks and so trollstigen was closed. Luckily it seemed that the motorcyclist wasn't badly injured. We made our way to Ålesund instead and stayed the night there. The following day we drove trollstigen to Geiranger and then headed towards Lillehammer. What an amazing road trip it was.
Good to hear you still enjoyed the trip despite the disruption! Thanks for watching 🙌
I lived in Norway for 14 years and never did this or in fact must say did not know of it!!! I have now been planning to do this for past couple of years and this year in August will be doing it on my Harley with my wife as pillion together with a few friends!
Ah you'll be in good company, plenty of motorbikes on this road! Thanks for watching 🙌
What a cold, damp and miserable landscape.
Probably best you don't visit Norway then :D
