My high schools football field is one of the worse. Other schools in my district have turf by this time except ours. Half of the grass is dead, the Lines are never straight, the numbers are never correctly Placed, and the box/center of the stands is not in line to the 50. One time we prevented the other team from scoring a touchdown because they tripped on a big mud spot. (Chula Vista high school)
That one legitimately looks like it’s about at the same level as the high school field I play at and I live in Canada and the two high schools that form the team combine for fewer than 400 students
I've actually been to Citrus Stadium when I was covering an Azusa Pacific football game against Humboldt State (whose football team was disbanded after last season). The stands are set at a high pitch, so walking from field level to the press box was not fun for my calves. That said, it does feature one of the most beautiful backdrops in college sports with the San Gabriel Mountains in the background.

For the sequel, might I recommend McCarthy Stadium, the home of Division III school King's College in Wilkes-Barre, PA. I work at the Sheetz near this stadium and when I'm going from work to the grocery store (which is across the street from the stadium), the stadium sticks out as looking even more like a high school stadium then the high school stadium that I live near. The home bleachers only extend between the 15-yard lines while the visitor's bleachers extend from the 33's to the 41's (yes, there are two sets of 8-yard wide bleachers with an 18-yard gap between them). For comparison, Wyoming Valley West High School's stadium in neighboring Kingston (which is BTW the high school stadium I mentioned in the second sentence), has home bleachers that extend from the 5's and visitor's bleachers that extend from the 25's, with a lot more rows of bleachers than McCarthy. Also, thanks to Google Earth for my estimates on the size of the bleachers. If you want some specifics about seating and opening, it has a capacity of 3000, but I can't seem to find information about when it opened, only seeing the year 2008, the year artificial turf was installed.
You'd be pleased to know that Virginia union has finally had some renovations done as of 2020! Field turf was installed and I think some other updates to the other parts of the facility as well!
I remember being in the band and marching into VUnion.. back in 2004 the away side was made of wooden boards there were flimsy. One of our basses refused to go up 😆
I’ve been to Samford’s stadium, they’re luckily building a new scoreboard that is much bigger. The home side concourse for the stadium is shared with the baseball stadium. Seibert Hall looks extremely shady and has multiple broke windows.
Gabe Amick I’m a current student at Samford, can confirm no broken windows on Seibert Hall. The building is just old. But yeah the main concourse is shared with the baseball stadium, there’s simply no extra room on campus. However despite the shared concourse it never gets too crowded or difficult to move around
I love how you go and rip Azuza Pacific’s stadium just for the fact that they were gifted a playoff berth last season over Midwestern State, who only lost to Tarleton State and Texas A&M-Commerce by a combined 2 POINTS!
Oh man, SFU actually made it onto the list! I've been on that field before (played frisbee there with a friend a few times, mostly in the winter on those rare Vancouver snow days) and honestly thought it was just a practice field and they they played their actual games an another stadium, like maybe Swangard Stadium which is admittedly on the other side of Burnaby from the main SFU campus but has a decent grandstand which seats about 8000 plus room for bleachers on the other side which can add a couple thousand more seats.

I didn't know that a nice stadium in Glendora would have issues... big-time issues. O_o? Hypothetically speaking, I think the reason why homeless ppl were able to get there in the first place is because of the Metro Gold Line [Future A Line, once the connector in Downtown Los Angeles is complete] would obviously take homeless ppl there... way over there. As a Bearkat, I've got to say that Sam Houston State's Stadium is really good for a small university. It really has a good feel to it and I enjoyed attending games there when I attended the university. Other than that, I agree with the rest of the picks.
As someone who has played away games at both Marist and Brown I am quite amused at the fact they are on this list. Brown had the most bizarre visiting locker room with like upstairs loft, and the crest on the field was extreme. Not to mention the field was a mud pit once you started playing on it. And as for Marist, it was the quietest football game ever because of the lack of visiting stands. Super awkward silence. And yeah no locker room for us. We were in some gymnasium or something down the road with a bunch of folding chairs that our equipment guys brought I’m pretty sure.
You say what? Here I was thinking I was the only one living very close to it. The baseball field is definitly much better. I go there during the summer to watch the BraveHearts games.

Haven't been to the East Coast yet, so your insight will ready me for those Rhode Island and Virginia Stadium Duds! However, I must respectfully disagree with your critique about Strawberry Stadium. I loved every single thing about SELU! True, the park lot structure right NEXT to the Stadium is a little unorthodox (especially since there are numerous parking lots within a quarter mile of the Stadium that don't charge for parking), but 'The Straw' more than makes up for it with the Golden Paw Prints that lead up to the Stadium, seven member street band that circles the interior all game long, and, BEST OF ALL, the mass of fans that attend every home game. When I was there, people were literally sitting on top of one another. In fact, I think that's why they built the structure in the first place. A multi-Southland Conference Champion does tend to attract a little attention. Other than that man, RIGHT ON! Long Live College Football!

SECOND EDIT: Langhorst has a listed capacity of around 800. No, not 8,000. 800. There are MIDDLE schools with more seats nearby.
“I may sound like a young guy but the fact is I’m old” I’ve never related more and I’m 19 😂
Shawn Spittle your not old at all 😂
Simon fraser does have a nice stadium now!
When I get the notification the fivepoints vids posts a new video, I immediately click

I'm eating cereal and snorted out milk when you said the bit about burying their opponents. Thanks man 😅
4:44 So no ones gonna mention that it’s called “Strawberry Stadium”
Ross Litscher it’s named after Louisiana state fruit
Hammond LA is close to Ponchatoula which is known for its strawberries
BIG missed opportunity not calling it Strawberry Field/Fields. :P
We love these videos because most of these stadiums will be gone in ten years. They are relics, that some will miss.
Leave my school field alone 😂😂 I love playing in front of the people #VUU ‼️‼️💪🏿
Ayye there we go🔥🔥
Ave Maria University plays football on a cow pasture with two bleachers. That should make you next list. While they have a 10 million dollar Catholic Cathedral a 1000 feet away.
Just as an FYI, the town Marist is in is spelled "poughkEEpsie"
Love these vids! Could you do more D1 stadiums?
You're 43 but you got the voice of man in his prime
Five points your my favorite sports channel on TH-cam
How about worst high school football stadiums?
0:13 Stadium Pedro Marrero, Havana, Cuba. Home of National Football Team (shouldn’t be on the video but, hey, thanks for the memories!!) 🇨🇺🇨🇺🇨🇺
Are we even allowed to bully these *trash* stadiums? It just seems wrong in nature. (Besides 5 Points this was satisfying to listen to) #StadiumFetish
I feel. We can’t make fun of them but FPV can because he’s a G

Hey my school Sam houston state made it 😂
May I suggest critiquing college basketball and/or hockey arenas? I think that would be an interesting topic
My HIGH SCHOOL’S stadium is better than some of these
Bruh, I feel like your attacking me personally lol. In the second vid you put on the school I grew up near and friends and family go to and the school I attend and perform in. Then in this video, You got the stadium literally 10 min from my house in a school a number of my friends went to. It's pretty funny to me.
Bald! Bald! Bald! *My eyyyyyes*
Now whenever I go to physicals at the Veterans Hospital just across the street from Hampton University's football field, I can feel as if I'm walking on fabled grounds that were given the thumbs down from FivePoints. Niiiice.
1907-2019=112
