I disagree. 7+ college football games in a 100k seat stadium is much less than 81+ professional baseball games in a 50k seat stadium. Dodger Stadium easily had the highest yearly attendance of any sports stadium anywhere on the planet for years if not decades (prior to this year due to covid, of course).
If you're going by seating capacity, auto racing is Americas pastime. Several of these states should have been race tracks including Indiana, Delaware, Virginia, North Carolina and I think Tennessee but need to look it up to be sure.
There are 6 games a year at most of these stadiums. MLB stadiums get used at least 80 times a year. They don't need to be as big. Also the layouts are different.
Sam Boyd does host the Monster Energy Cup, which utilizes the weird shape of the stadium to its advantage to make part of the track go outside. They even had the starting gate start on top of the endzone grandstands for 1 year. You mean Jerry World? That stadium was built to compensate for his dried up pecker. Emperor Jones only cares about himself, and running the nfl from behind the scenes, not bringing a ring to one of the most insufferable fan-bases in all of sports, and one of the most criminal record-having teams in football.
4:50 yes, I am, since Daytona International Speedway holds 100,000+ and hosts the Daytona 500, Coke Zero Sugar 400, Rolex 24 hours at Daytona, Monster Energy AMA Supercross, and more Edit: I saw the video description that Motorsports is not included
Brown Stadium in Rhode Island: you mentioned it didn’t get lights until 2010. It STILL DOESN’T have light. Temporary lighting is brought in for 1 Game per year. The neighbors are asshats and don’t want permanent lighting!!!!!!
1:15 If FPV sees this, just want to let you know that in late May 2019, UAA Hockey moved out of the Sullivan Arena as they didn’t have high enough attendance for the arena (they averaged about 1900 people per game in an arena that seats over 6000). They moved to the Wells Fargo Sports Complex on UAA campus. That arena currently seats about 800, but an expansion is being planned.

Hey FivePoints, have you recovered from the NFL Draft. Just wondering. The good news is you guys have Super Bowl titles. I’m a Titans fan and we lost by a yard, and we’ve haven’t been that good since. So, we feel your pain.
The Indianapolis Motor Speedway is actually the largest sporting venue in Indiana or better yet the country or better yet the world with over 235,000 permanent seating and infield seating that can boost the capacity up to over 400,000. To give yall a perspective on how big the whole stadium is, the whole Vatican City can fit comfortably inside the stadium. At 560 acres the whole Indianapolis Motor Speedway stadium is close to a square mile.
Right? Las Vegas Speedway is the second largest population in the state during a race. It's capacity crushes Sam Boyd. Indianapolis, Daytona, Texas, to name a few more that are ungodly large compared to the listed stadiums.
It's my understanding that he mispronounced the city as well. I've been to Newark, DE, and i was told it's not pronounced [NEW-erk]; it's pronounced [new-ARK].
Sam Boyd also used to host the Mickey Thompson Offroad Grand Prix championships. Those were some good, crazy races, and they drew a real good crowd every year. Makes me wonder how off road races like that never took off more than they did (though they did spawn a cool video game).
He said no motorsports. That is unfortunate as there are many large motorsport venues in America like Indianapolis, Texas and even Nascar courses like Talladega and Daytona.
Most of the large racetracks aren't considered stadiums, because the stands don't encompass the entire track....Indianapolis Motor Speedway, built in 1909, is the lone exception, and is considered not only the largest stadium in Indiana, but also the World....
Wow. Awesome! I'd give it five thumbs up, but they won't let me. Unlike most channels, your commentary is BEYOND entertaining. The sarcasm is fun, and you're very literate. Thanks for posting; I'm going to subscribe! (On the other hand, in the area of non-sarcasm into which you occasionally strayed, you might have mentioned that the L.A. Coliseum is the most iconic stadium in America, ranking only below the Statue of Liberty, the Golden Gate Bridge, and the Empire State Building, in its iconocism. I know that's not a word. You might have mentioned that the nearly century-old L.A. Coliseum packed in 105,000 fans for UCLA and Notre Dame games prior to renovation to make the field more "intimate" for fans, how, in addition to hosting two Olympic Games (and, soon, a third), a World Series, two Super Bowls (including the first), a mass by the Pope, a huge gathering by Billy Graham (I think in excess of 150,000), the world's first stadium "Supercross," etc., etc. etc.) Oh, um. I may have failed to mention that I'm from Southern California. But still, what other century-old U.S. stadium has been home to two NFL teams, two major CFB teams and two Super Bowls? And is also pretty? Huh? (Did I mention three Olympic Games, a world record for a venue? I think I did.)
Tennessee: Bristol Motor Speedway “The Last Great Colosseum” 162,000 seating capacity. Laid host in 2016 to the revowed, but not yet come to life rivalry between Virginia Tech and Tennessee Volunteers. Also host of many undersold NASCAR events. Nestled just on the Tennessee side of Bristol this track has seen huge improvements throughout the years, growing to be the largest, but not yet noticed venue for more than just sports.

The background music makes me want every day to be the 4th of July
Centennial Field actually was a great place to catch a game. 2 bucks to get in (in the 90's) and concessions rivaling the value menu for...well, value. Went to quite a few games there as a poor college student. Single A ball. Every seat close to the field :)
It’s still funny to me how the cowboys spent 1.3 billion dollars on a stadium to go 7-7 and not have a sb ring for 24 years
You mean Jerry World? That stadium was built to compensate for his dried up pecker. Emperor Jones only cares about himself, and running the nfl from behind the scenes, not bringing a ring to one of the most insufferable fan-bases in all of sports, and one of the most criminal record-having teams in football.
You'll be okay
Had a glorious chance of making some Mormon jokes about BYU, but held off. That takes some willpower.
You should critique every AHL and NBA G-League arena
Yes
Finally..... a freaking baseball field! Lol keep up the stadium content
MIKE pi yes
Cardinal Stadium (Louisville) - 65,000
Kroger Field (Kentucky) - 61,000
But uk is better🚫🧢
Cardinal stadium only has actually 61000 like Kroger Field... It was later announced the latest expansion would only add 6000 instead of 10000 seats.
It’s great you got all the aerial shots of all 51 stadiums! Great video!
You sould do biggist stadiums in each province and territories
Biggest Stadium in BC: BC Place
Biggest Stadium in Ontario: Rogers Centre
Biggest Stadium in Nunavit: [picture of some warehouse]
Did I hear him mention Atlanta WITHOUT mentioning 28-3??? I think I'm part of the "highest fans"
He mentioned it in the intro lol
4:50 yes, I am, since Daytona International Speedway holds 100,000+ and hosts the Daytona 500, Coke Zero Sugar 400, Rolex 24 hours at Daytona, Monster Energy AMA Supercross, and more
Edit: I saw the video description that Motorsports is not included
That DC joke about Congress caught me off guard. Hilarious!!!
Love the sarcasm! Just love it. Great vid.
“I’ve been through the desert on a horse with a no name to find a stadium named after horses without a name”
yo Mr. Five Points,
did we have to go _there_

Well look on the bright side.....at least it didnt show the block by Appalachian State....."Appalachian State has stunned the college football world!"

@@lifebybill1326 MSU game hurt more
Old photos of the big house, too
Yes, considering moving.
Aloha Stadium
Primary Tenant: Hawaii Warriors, Rust
I am a very simple man I see that fivepoints vids uploads a video and I insert another shit overused catchphrase about dropping everything and watching some urinatingtree
Vermont football undefeated since 1974.
Hey FivePoints, have you recovered from the NFL Draft.
Just wondering.
The good news is you guys have Super Bowl titles.
I’m a Titans fan and we lost by a yard, and we’ve haven’t been that good since. So, we feel your pain.
For anyone wondering, the line at 3:04 is a reference to “A Horse With No Name” by America.
No NASCAR stadiums? I mean its not the most popular sport but they have massive stadiums
Right? Las Vegas Speedway is the second largest population in the state during a race. It's capacity crushes Sam Boyd. Indianapolis, Daytona, Texas, to name a few more that are ungodly large compared to the listed stadiums.
Those are considered grand stands, not stadia
@LA Ryan Look up bristol motor speedway...
@@marshalldcarpenter the description said no motorsports
There's one Atlanta joke you haven't made:
A video length of 28:03
“Wow, Maine really bringing with this one”
Lmao 🤣
Major motion sickness warning with all the spinning! haha but enjoyed the video
I recently moved near the Delaware blue hens stadium because everything in Delaware is near it
Visited Delaware once. Not bad, though I feel like everything that state has to offer is basically two places: Wilmington, and Rehoboth Beach
It's my understanding that he mispronounced the city as well. I've been to Newark, DE, and i was told it's not pronounced [NEW-erk]; it's pronounced [new-ARK].
Coming from a Wyoming resident I am saddened by our lack of stadiums but however we did produce Larry nance and plus when u play here u can’t breathe
Jacob Jones
Powder River!
Indianapolis motor speedway?
I was waiting for that one. Also, Daytona?
@@Rogn1 This is STADIUMS, not racetracks.
@@tevinsherrill4195 it’s called “Stadium Seating” even at a racetrack.
The “S-Zone” at PSU is actually a collection of students wearing colored T-Shirts that a University club gives out to continue the tradition
I love the Braves reference in the beginning
I go to Michigan, so that joke hurt man. You hurt me 😢
No just kidding I knew that was coming
FalloutFan66 I just expect it at this point whenever Michigan football comes up
Overrated

I'd say that one was worse than giving up 62 to Ohio State.
You should have included Motorsport tracks in it as well.
MetalHead88x no
Not a sport.
Thomas Israel um yes it is
I think the Rose Bowl is now the largest stadium in California
It is possible that renovations have decreased the capacity
The University of Louisville's Cardinal Stadium in Louisville, Kentucky seats more people (65,000) than Kentucky's Kroger field (61,000).
Thanks for that last quarter mishap replay against Michigan stadium. Us Michigan fans just love that
Your camera editing being so choppy on Kinnick stadium has triggered the entire state of Iowa
Leo Doyle cause no one gives a SHIT bout iowa
Kyle Field wasn't done justice.
#GigEm 👍
Incremate Gig’em! By far the best in the nation!
The Monster Jam world finals were moved to Orlando in 2017.
Sam Boyd also used to host the Mickey Thompson Offroad Grand Prix championships. Those were some good, crazy races, and they drew a real good crowd every year. Makes me wonder how off road races like that never took off more than they did (though they did spawn a cool video game).
Seamus McKeon 2019 actually
Is Bristol motor speedway a stadium? It hosted a football game that pulled 156k people. It looks like an oversized football stadium.
Came for the random knowledge, stayed for the awesome commentary😂
The Georgia part really aged well 5:15
Hell yeah
Indianapolis motor speedway should of been Indiana's, capacity of 250,000 permanently seating
Jess Allen nope your wrong , Bristol Motor Speedway is the only track that has seats the entire way around , true stadium
4:25 I got past their every other month it ain’t thatttt big
Shout out Wrestlemania for giving Vince McMahon every year a new reason to scout stadiums for his XFL teams
Wow.
Coliseum packed in 105,000 fans for UCLA and Notre Dame games prior to renovation to make the field more "intimate" for fans, how, in addition to hosting two Olympic Games (and, soon, a third), a World Series, two Super Bowls (including the first), a mass by the Pope, a huge gathering by Billy Graham (I think in excess of 150,000), the world's first stadium "Supercross," etc., etc. etc.)
Oh, um. I may have failed to mention that I'm from Southern California. But still, what other century-old U.S. stadium has been home to two NFL teams, two major CFB teams and two Super Bowls? And is also pretty? Huh? (Did I mention three Olympic Games, a world record for a venue? I think I did.)
Dude thanks for this comment, this is awesome. I agree the Coliseum is iconic!
@@FivePointsVids Thanks for your reply! Keep up the good work!
"The only thing the Wildcats have over the Jayhawks is a larger stadium."
That's cold, man.

23:06 what state? WTH is a Wyoming?
A lot of NASCAR tracks are the biggest in most states, but I understand going with more *accepted* sports
Churchill Downs and several other racetracks were omitted in the listings
Tennessee: Bristol Motor Speedway “The Last Great Colosseum” 162,000 seating capacity. Laid host in 2016 to the revowed, but not yet come to life rivalry between Virginia Tech and Tennessee Volunteers. Also host of many undersold NASCAR events. Nestled just on the Tennessee side of Bristol this track has seen huge improvements throughout the years, growing to be the largest, but not yet noticed venue for more than just sports.
