Fun fact about Field of the Dead: Snow-Covered basics count as lands with a different name, so it would be worth replacing at least one basic in each color with them
With how many shocks and fetches along with 2 triomes are gonna be in my new omnath you don’t need to run snow covered basics plus I’m ocd I like all my cards to match including my lands lol
I'll share my spicy Omnath tech with you. Storm Cauldron, a 5 mana artifact that reads "Each player may play an additional land each turn. Whenever a land is tapped for mana, return it to it's owners hand." With Omnath and Storm Cauldron on the battlefield you can tap two lands, returning them to your hand, then play them from your hand, triggering Omnath twice, giving you 4 life and 4 coloured mana in addition to the mana the 2 lands produced (Gaea's Cradle, Nykthos). Note that Storm Cauldron is a symmetrical effect, and since Omnath breaks parity with his ability it can give you a huge advantage, especially when combined with any Exploration effects.
@@rhainex5952 If you were trying to trigger the second mode multiple times, yes. My example is just describing a way you can reliably trigger the second mode of the ability on each of your turns to generate at least 6 mana (4 from Omnath, and at least 2 from your lands you tapped). Meanwhile Storm Cauldron is effecting your enemies, and they likely have no way to break parity.
I'm currently constructing my omnath locust of creation landfall/elemental cedh. I got all fetch lands yesterday and excited to take him out for a test run today with my playgroup......pray for them........pray! Lol!
Added three cars to that as that are kind of must include with my playgroup where they're running constant infinite Combos and I hate infinite combos so I delved into the land of disgusting is called marauding Raptor and polyraptor with Forerunner of the empire I've got those in my deck just in case I have to use that option
You did not mention the most important card for additional lands: Oracle of Mul Daya: Rules Text You may play an additional land on each of your turns. Play with the top card of your library revealed. You may play the top card of your library if it's a land card. This card is better for landfall than any other card shown. So 2 lands per turn if you are lucky and hit on of the 10 fetchlands you could include you have always 3 lands per turn. @@rhainex5952 Cool. After digging around, the different iterations of a planeswalker is still considered the same planeswalker, so you can only one in play, even if they are different variations. However, this rule doesn't apply to legendary creatures! Different Omnaths are different Omnaths and both can exist on the field at the same time! The more you know!

Don't get me wrong. Was still a great vid and you gave me a lot of things to work with now that I finally managed to obtain an Omnath. I just have had really bad experiences with that card. The moment that card comes down it's game over and it's just not a fun card to play with or against. Especially since I love playing Mono White and that card just ruins it for Mono White because I just cannot recoup after that. But still a good vid!

Glad I just finished my Omnath, Locus of the Roil Lands Matter Elemental last week. I have almost all of the cards you mentioned in my deck.

Mana breach is really good in a landfall deck as well. Two and a blue enchantment that sends a land back to hand whenever a player plays a spell
You would need to be able to blink omnath to reset him to get your second set of triggers after the three lands entering the battlefield.
