My comment for your review of this series' previous issue's still getting repeatedly disappeared...for, as near as I can only guess, simply mentioning/using the word, “ethnicity”. Right, have at you again then, Extremity and the Big G overlords. I do like that two-page spread of the cross-section of the tower, right at the beginning of this issue. That's a portrayal, an approach that I don't see much anymore, anywhere...supplanted by computer-based technology and mindsets, I guess. I always have and continue to enjoy pouring over the details of cross-section images like that one. Good choice, writer-artist. Okay, “her castle is made from the strongholds of her enemies, stitched together”. That makes for an interesting and imposing description and mental imagery, but...how is that at all practical? No matter what distance from the ruling woman's base and what type of architectural configurations her enemies' strongholds were...she invested such resources as it would take, to physically move (what's left of, post-warfare) those losers' castles all the way to her own house? Uh... I've made my point, moving on! Yes, I agree with you Marinus, on this issue somehow shifting my impression of the title overall, in the positive. Maybe it's the primary setting for these intimate, interpersonal dramatic moments of character interaction and development. Stylistically, visually and narratively, this is continuing to remind me of the likes of Step by Bloody Step and The Sacrificers. Thea's father may well have already decided, perhaps due to something specific, that he's outright damned - thus, permitting himself fewer and fewer limits in desperation. At any rate, this was the most attention-grabbing issue yet, and I expect the remainder of this world to more firmly grasp my interest and the primary plot from here on. Whether or not it does, we'll have to see. So, thanks as usual for delivering some bit of entertainment, however unexpected, Darksyde. 'Til next time, have an excellent day!
That is so weird. yeah YT is very sensitive with certain key words like those bah!! The spread was cool. Like you can cut out and stick it onto something else lol. it was creative. yeah like the land was ropped apart? and then bits an peice of the land can be lieved on i guess? no graviryt and more buidlings to reinforce the stronghold?? question, questions.... Yeah i have to see where its going, maybe they will screw it up xD. Ow yeah it has the same vibes from those books. Good catch, Mike! He checked out indeed. He si beyond saving now. yeah it was way better. I hoped it pays off, but that ending is far away. Indeed. Hope you have a great day anyways man. Onwarrrdsss!!
