Here in MA, I've been trying to find a PCP (mine left the practice and my insurance doesn't cover his new practice - awesome!) who won't be wearing a mask during the exam. So far, I cannot get any guarantee despite the mask mandate FOR PROVIDERS ONLY, NOT PATIENTS being dropped here recently. It seems doctors WANT to be wearing useless surgical masks here in MA. I repeat - NO MANDATE but the doctors are still masking. Seriously, WTF? Makes zero sense.

I have little confidence in medical professionals at this point. Any MD that is wearing a virtue signalling mask at this point is an adherent of magical thinking. I would decline treatment from such a fool. Magical thinking is dangerous in a medical professional. Such people are simply not trustworthy.
As a medical professional you have a choice to make. Either you are a member of the cult of masking (which didn't work in 1918, and still doesn't. There is no evidence that a surgical or cloth mask ever had any measureable impact on the transmission of any respiratory virus. The Cochran meta-study is unequivocal. Masks are of no measureable benefit and they deprive you of oxygen, promote bacterial growth, and impede respiration. N95 masks are no better.
I have no use for medical professionals who engage in systematic magical thinking and group dogma.
The Event 201 Script was part of the effort of the Pharmaceutical Industry to strip Clinical Physicians of their rightful place and to reduce them to mere technicians who can easily be replaced by machines in the not too distant future. Any Physician who cannot see this is useless to anyone as a Physician.

I was a young RN in the early 70's. This was prior to HIV. Now the stories I can tell about how we handled blood would make your hair curl. I worked NNICU and we did blood transfusions all the time. We thought nothing of the spilling of blood from a bag and often ended up by the end of the day covered with blood, including shoes, and paid no mind to it. We went down to the cafeteria wearing a lab coat over our blood stained scrubs. People said blood was good to feed your plants, so once I took home the blood removed from a baby and fed it to my plants. It would have otherwise gone into the trash. Seriously. BTW, it didn't make any difference for my plants. One doctor I worked with bought some beautiful red sneakers for work, why? Because it would match the color of blood she would get on her shoes. Back in those days we were all bloody messes and no one got ill from it. We even didn't wear gloves when handling it. Gloves didn't become a thing until sometimes in the '80's, post HIV. As an ITU doctor in the UK, we haven't worn face masks since late 2021. ITU I full of emergencies, and wearing masks (and especially face shields) _seriously_ hampers communication. Errors are made, some team members don't hear critical information. We ditched it years ago for its harm to patient care, and I find it staggering that it's still debated in the US!

Good to see you reporting on this! Dr. Phil is still concentrating on the measures enacted during the vid, citing the lack of conversation around what we did incorrectly or what we overreacted will lead to worse outcomes the next time. People who were zeolites, at least the people in my circle, act like it never happened, asking me why I'm still bringing up masking mandates, how Biden tried to get OSHA to force a vax mandate, and I told them I bring it up for the very reason Dr. Phil mentioned, so it doesn't happen again. There was no plan to deal with making up 2 years of missed in-class learning, no foresight into how to manage long term anxiety created by shocking everyone saying they were going to die. Just sweep it under the rug on move on I guess, even though now, at least in Santa Cruz, you see many young people still wearing masks at all times, I'm talking when HS gets out, you'll see kids walking to the bus stop wearing a mask, outside, in the middles of spring, 80*, the powers that be ruined that child's brain for life and could care less about it.

Reading that some conventional medical practitioners have this unreasonable (that is to holistic thinking) fear makes it quite astonishing that conventional medicine dominates, yet unsurprising that many people don’t trust doctors post-covid.

Ontario Canada most MDs, nurses, EMS, dentists etc still masked. Just last month req’mt for patients/clients started to drop in med clinics/hosps. But people still wearing voluntarily incl thin black ones (after they come in sit near you vs befire entering building/clinic) and outside. Home care nurses and personal care staff not req for few months. Some still do if client/ patient is immune deficient and or high risk. That’s fair.
