Visually they may share some similarities, but hearing them it’s a complete different beast! I don’t like to compare the two because it’s a completely different sound and completely different experience! Both sound great but the Fyne speaker definitely incorporates new cutting edge speaker technology
@@upscaleaudio thanks! I ask because I thought they were replicas. Would love a comparison of both like you’ve been doing with some other speakers as of late. Keep up the great work!!
what is the practical benefit of cryo treatment in terms of sound performance? Or is the benefit unrelated to sound and more in the way of adding durability?
We would love too but TH-cam’s copy right makes it difficult and you wouldn’t even hear how it actually sounds through your device speakers. That’s why we do audio shows and demos so you can get the full real experience!
Unless something's changed in the last little while, Fyne Audio's cabinets are made by a large OEM cabinet manufacturer in Swidnica Poland. I've seen their cabinet work first hand, (Kensington SE) and from what I saw it's top notch both inside and out.
They share the same DNA, because it was founded by the four head engineers of Tannoy. They wanted to innovate and incorporate new cutting edge technologies! They have several other lines that all have their own signature unique look!
That’s reminds me of when the record company sued John Fogerty for sounding too much like Creedence Clearwater. (in which he was the lead singer). The Fyne engineers are ex-Tannoy engineers. This is their drive technology that they believe is the best, so why would they reinvent it?
I demo'd these speakers in an audio store near Toronto and they are fantastic! Everything about them - sound, looks- just incredible!
I absolutely adore these speakers, the design, everything. They remind me of tannoys in the build quality. Stunning
It's always a pleasure to see Kevin. He's a unique guy.
Best boss I’ve ever had!
My new dream speaker.
I can’t believe I get paid to listen to it haha 😆
Wow, looks amazing! I'm sure it sounds spectacular. Interesting with a 750Hz crossover point. Hope to hear one soon. Well done Fyne audio!!!
Man. That is an impressive looking speaker. How cool. Cheers!
We think so too!
Dream speakers
How does it compare to the Tannoy’s mate?

Well, as Fyne is a spin-off from Tannoy, I consider them as the icing on the Tannoy-cake... - mho...
@@brackbernhard9834oh my...that would be nice
Looking forward to the THE Show!
They sound great! I heard them in Toronto!
You gotta hear them again with the SuperTrax on top!

Can you clarify about the cabinets. Do they arrive in Scotland already made or just cut and then assembled there?

Seems like Tannoy are out and Fyne Audio are the next generation speakers.
oh my God...this company is the new upcoming rival to many vintage speakers...it seem? I may get a vintage 12
They sound amazing!
tannoy
But why’d they copy the Tannoy aesthetic?
The whole company is a carbon copy of Tannoy.
