I brought Fyne F704’s into my system about a year ago and could not be happier with the sound… and they’re a work of art to look at as well. Spectacular audio performance!
Hi@@benjaminvdwalt6666 . I use a Pathos inPol amp for power. Their technology combines the full 360° voltage amplification achieved through tubes with current amplification through a single MOSFET per channel. The result is very warm class A sound. I have no doubt that these speakers would respond well to tube amplifiers, but I have not done the listening to confirm it. Post back here when you have an answer. Best -
@@doughaigh Pathos Inpol is incredible. Probably a pinnacle of amplification tech. I am considering, however, spending a bit more on the speakers than on the amp. I am interested in the 703SP with the super tweeters and the amp that I want to get is the Electrocompaniet ECI 6DXII. The amp has been praised as a sweetheart unit that reviewers really like and leans a bit to the slightly warmer sound and comes with an integrated streamer, DAC and preamp all of which are top class quality. For a warm sounding speaker, like the Boressen X2, it becomes a bit too much of a good thing apparently, but with speakers that are more neutral sounding, I think the ECI 6DXII will be a very good fit. If you are enjoying the warm class A sound from the Pathos on your F704's, then I am sure that the Electrocompaniet can also pair well with the F703SP :)
I remember when I spoke with Brian and Kat and asked if you'd ever bring in fyne audio. It's great to see they are finally here. I just wish I had the budget
Hi, i was hesitant about Fyne loudspeakers. My local reseller in Montpellier, France has ceased collaboration with Fyne and I was rather disappointed. I shall try and find another store in my region. Lovely story and I enjoyed « we needed a job »…!
how would this compare to the single driver 10" speakers like vintage, vintage classic and f1-10. where does it sit in the lineup if its possible to compare them like that
Some people have said that Fyne Audio speakers lack in bass. I have never heard them in person, but I am wondering about this complaint. These F703SP speakers are great but I would hate to spend $20k on speakers and find them unsatisfying...
I have a pair of F501SP's in my smallish 13" x 12.5" room. They do not lack in the bass region, in fact I am constantly amazed at just how LOUD they can get. I don't know how Fyne manages get so much sound out of a pair of 6 inch drivers per side.
Please help me out. I want to buy the Best bookshelf speaker under 2000 US dollars. Klipsch 9s , sonus Faber lumina 2, q acoustics 5020, kef r3 meta , warfdale linton 85 ? We don't get arindal 1723 or 1961 in my country. Any other speaker that you would recommend under or a little over 2000 dollars ?

Would you say they would pair well with slight warm sounding amplification? Like with tube amps etc?

As always you need to hear them for yourself, but to me they have some of the best Bass I have ever heard from speakers before. The BassTrax is crazy!
@@upscaleaudio wow… sounds amazing… then I will start saving up. The 703SP is my favourite Fyne speaker, its the one I will go for 🤩
