    13:59 - Summary
Productivity is movement, and one of the most effective ways to make successful movements is by performing Sprints.
A Sprint is a highly-focused, intentional, engaged, and time-bounded work session that pushes you beyond your current limits.
The goal of each Sprint is to travel the greatest distance towards your goal as possible.
Distance is equal to velocity multiplied by time.
The total time you Sprint for each day is dependent on how many times you Sprint a day and how long you Sprint for.
Velocity is a function of the direction you choose and your stride.
Your direction is based on your values or goals.
Your stride depends on your stride length and your rhythm.
Use deliberate practice to enhance your skills, and subsequently, your stride length.
Learn to keep imitating people better than you until you surpass them, developing a direct relationship with the ideal itself.
Remove distractions and create the optimal conditions for flow.
    d = v T = D L Y n t

“Discipline, not productivity, leads to consistent results.” This helped change my mindset. The frustrating thing about motivation (or lack thereof) is that it is rarely something one can control, it’s something one feels. However, discipline is an actionable practice that is in a person’s control to develop.

    00:25 Productivity is effective movement.
02:23 Every sprint has 3 key components: distance, velocity, and time.
04:14 Discipline, not motivation, leads to consistent results.
05:57 Productivity is a long-term marathon that requires managing time and focusing on velocity.
07:47 Investing your energy is more important than how much you invest.
09:32 Values can change as we collect more experiences
11:10 Deliberate practice involves taking action and getting feedback
13:15 Work on things you find deeply meaningful to minimize distractions
So true. Contributing to something value to others and society provides much more energy then just commercial or transactional ones. Just better. 🙌

Well thought out but yes so many pieces that can be tweaked as one works around.
    Key lessons:
sprints (highly focused, intentional, engaged, time-bounded, challenged sprint with goal to travel greater distance towards goal as possible)
    =
direction (chosen path via purpose and values) x action towards the ideal action(skillset level of activity, developed by modeling and deliberate practice and coaching) x rhythm (flow, developed by meditation and setting cues to get in the zone) x amt of time of the sprint focused time session x how many sessions in the day
    total productivity for given goal
    =
how many sprints or how many focus sessions you did in total
    total progressing towards the goal?
    =
how many focused session you are doing daily and weekly towards goal.

Best productivity Self-Improvement video on TH-cam. There's not much "corny" motivational things. Just pure facts & research. I love how you combine concepts from Science to Philosophies, into something that we can use in our Daily Life. Also love how you put variety of passions and not just regular office works assignments. Strides like Music & Sport is not as clear/organised as regular paperwork assignments, so I appreciate a lot for you to include that in the examples! Absolutely best one out there. Keep improving, Freedom of Thought!
