App version 1.11.611 - Hopefully this is a helpful video going through some solutions to common problems.
I found out later that Luba 1 users do not have a "specified date" option. Here is the workaround for the workaround! @0:54 choose "repeat" and pick any day of the week. To prevent it from running, @2:27 use the toggle to turn off "enable". When you need to run it, you'll need to enable it, and change the day of the week to today, and change the time to a few minutes from now, and then save. Hopefully the next app update fixes this for Luba 1.

Right now, Luba 1 users do not have a "specified date" option. Here is the workaround for the workaround: @0:54 choose "repeat" and pick any day of the week. To prevent it from running, @2:27 use the toggle to turn off "enable". But without the options to "copy" or "task now" you are severely limited in how much this helps. You can edit it to "once only" to get it to run, but I don't know how long it will stay in your task list. If it stays at all, you should edit it back to repeat so it will be there for next time. The safer way is to edit the "repeat weekday" and time to right around "now" when you want to run it on command. Hopefully the next app update will fix this.

This is 4 months later AND I have an Apple phone/app - I don't seem to have anywhere near the options you android users have (bummer) It just mows the same straight lines every time (at least it works - whenever I ask for support they want me to check the firmware update status, but I end up tapping something on the app screen and I learn something new that they can't seem to understand ! ) Support is frustrating - THANKS for you vids

Nice video, thanks. Do you know if you can take the Luba a few miles away from the base (there is no power at that lawn) let it connect and run?

For Luba 2, the website says 5km (that's a little over 3 miles). There is talk that a sim card might be required to get that range, but I'm not aware of anything official saying how far you can go without a sim card. So I would take them at their word: it says 5km in one place and it says sim is optional in another place, and we should complain if it doesn't work. Currently I don't know how to give Luba multiple wifi networks/passwords, so it won't have any internet that far away unless you set up a router at the second location with the same credentials as your home router.

Quick question, i have the H version of Luba 2 but I noticed that when I go to Task, edit, it show that I can adjust my height down lower than 2.2. I wish this were true because 2.2 seems very high. Have you seen this?

Yes, very recently. Are you on the facebook group "Mammotion Luba Issues & Solutions"? I'm not sure if this link will work but it's my post on May 21, 8:11pm

Here's what I said in my post:
Solution: This week I've been having an issue where the cutting height slider is for standard, but I have the high model. Even killing the app doesn't fix it. But I've found it only does this when creating the task from the device selection screen. If you tap "enter map" then tap "mow" it works for me every time. You can even go back to the task list and they are corrected as well.
      Luba 2 5000H, Android.
(PS you can just load the map, and back out to your task list if you're planning on editing or copying an existing task)
One comment said restarting Luba fixed it, I suspect that's true, but it might come back at any time. I think the app has a default for the standard height model and it needs to be overridden by the high version.

Thanks, only thing i don't understand is the ''start progress''what is that doing

    • @RobotMowerTricks
      @RobotMowerTricks  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

It allows you to jump ahead in the mow. For various reasons you might cancel a mow when it's not complete. Start progress let's you jump back to the % it was at.
I'll oftentimes take a screenshot of it showing the percent complete, then cancel the task in order to remap, and when done, I look at the % in the screenshot and put that into the "start progress" for it to resume cutting.

Seems like the option 'Specified Date' is not available on Luba 1. I'm on app version 1.11.116.

You'll have to wait for a mature category of gps mowers to exist. It'll take years. Robot mowers are at least 10 years old and just started to have all the features and use the features well in one product.

Well, at least, for me, it's the only and first mower who does the job better than i expected. It's super
