9:10 I think, for reverse effects, better and faster results can be achieved with 1. Reverse the audio clip. 2. Add Reverb and bounce it. 3. Reverse the bounced clip. What you did is, add reverb and then reverse it. So what you are getting is the reverse of the tail of the audio clip or portion of audio clip. But with the above said method, the sound you will get is the reverse of the reverb that affected the end of the reversed audio clip, which means the end product will be more compatible with the source sound's (basically the source audio clip) beginning because end of reversed audio clip is basically the front of the audio clip in reverse.
You can also play with the delay and reverb settings on your instruments. When I have a slow arp in the background, I increase its delayed feedback to create tension. It works well with piano arps.
Nice glad to hear B2D shout out!! He's awesome man. Also the resampling reverse is something done a lot in deep house. If you've heard any of Durante tracks he does it with his vocals before introducing them. It's a great technique to bring in vocals as an ambience before becoming dry and centered.
Also instead of complete silence, just taking out a few elements for the last 4 -8 beats works great as a transition. Just taking out kick & bass for example. Feels like it hits again once the next bars start.
Enjoyed this one zen cheers, over the years we learn so many things sometimes its a trade to remember it all to throw around as we work, so cheers for these simplified reminders, firm handshakes big sir
This is just a general frequency question for you guys. How much is too much high end? I noticed on zens sounds doesnt seem like too much is going on past 10K even in those high strings. Is this the reason why I have too much fuzz on my high end? These transitions sound super clean
Dude I’ve got a drop that I’m trying to do a transition fill for but I can’t find what to do for it every sound just doesn’t fit could you maybe help me bro?
that 8:00 trick I sure he saw that at illenium livestrem hahaha I learn the same shit in the same way in the video.. Also I make a rack so when I want I just load and set the tempo with the bpm ... btw good video man but plz drop that song lol
I feel like a lot of your videos try to show a technique and then you execute it , and it doesnt sound good and you say "you can do that it didnt go as i wanted but thats a good option" and then you go to the next "tip" , is either that or you do something you said you wouldnt do because its too cliché, and then you say "buy my samples" , dont get me wrong i like your energy

Zen. Can you please create a Masterclass for your Anjunadeep / Deep House style music. I'd buy immediately!

Hey, are you gonna lie? :P
I HATE MODELS SOUND TUTORIAL PLEASE.
"An FX" makes my ears hurt. FX stands for "effects", so you're basically saying "an effects".
So your STILL using effects then?
