47:05 The first (and only) FDA-approved drug for postpartum depression is brexanolone.
Thank you. Yes, this lecture is several years old so I should probably update it again soon. Brexanolone was only approved a few months ago.
@@pwbMD Was just meant to be an extra info for the guys who're going through the comments, I would under no circumstances correct you; I know some of the lectures are a bit older (still very helpful), and nobody can expect from you to update them frequently - that's ok, that's what the youtube comment section is for.
You make studying for so many subjects so much more efficient and easier, I actually build my whole clinical years upon a summary of your lectures and, if needed, I read some extra material/ watch more videos. The results are very good - in fact, my university awarded me with some scholarships because of my good grades.
I will join your patreon at the end of the next year to give you something back.
Best,
Someone who watches all of your videos and reads all the comments. If I ever get to meet you I'll sponsor you more than one beer :-)
Paul Bolin

Feels like so many people are living with cyclothymia but by it's nature by its nature' it isn't bad enough to warrant going to the doctor.
hi paul, i was wondering is there an opposite towards bereavement, like their parents died and the next day they feel completely fine. would that count as a mood disorder
You could call this the defense mechanism: Isolation of AffectAlternatively a true lack of emotion may be indicative of an underlying personality disorder.
Andy Akbar It may also be absolute shock and denial which is perfectly normal and part of the grieving process too
minne-soda heh heh heh
mood disorders are psychose or nevrose?
that bloke you goes ""why are u looking at the videos"" is so creepy and annoying
Hello Dr. Bolin. I have been searching for DVD copies on all your videos but just can't find any. was wondering if you could combine all your videos according to subsection as listed (cardio, psych, etc) and sell it. by having the cds one wouldn't need to have Internet to watch. all 300 plus videos
chomo helo you can save them from you tube directly or using any available app... his goal is to make free USMLE video(we thank God for it).....
@@laurakaptue3463 Don't thank god...thank Dr. B!

Come to a word common between us and you: that we shall serve none but Allah and shall associate none with Him in His divinity and that some of us will not take others as lords beside Allah.' And if they turn their backs (from accepting this call), tell them: 'Bear witness that we are the ones who have submitted ourselves exclusively to Allah.' -Quran
