@@NBKVamp I mean the story is great and I love it, even the new ones aren't that bad, but I play since 2013 and I've completed every story at least twice. I just wish that we would get more lore, even if it's just side quests or events.
They should make it Sith vs Jedi, what I mean by this is they should make a progression on these dynamic encounters putting more depth to them, meaning that they actually lead to some sort of benefit for The republic or empire, based on who completed it faster or a point system or something, and whoever is the leader gets like a world buff so If Hoth is controlled by Sith because they won or is leading in points then for example all sith players get a 5% Mission exp boost or something and then your higher level worlds you can bring PVP dynamic events just to get people to actually want to play them more then just leveling reasons, gives max level players more of an incentive to go and do these events. You can give different buffs for each planet.
don't worry there is MUCH more to come bro. Just pay your sub for another 6-8 months(90-120 USD) and Biofail will give you a 6 minute single player cutscene quest.
I agree with what you say at the end about a boss after completing X events (like RIFT/GW2), but idk about 40 players. It should just scale with whoever touches it. Just because if its 5am and someone spawns it and theres only 7 people... kinda sucks.
Y'know what? I'll start posting EVERYDAY a video of myself shocking Vette until Bioware add some Krayt fkn Dragon on Tatooine or until i have no more credits to pay my holonet bill. Wanna save that poor slave, Bioware? *Then give me my dragon!* Thus said Voreghul Twileksbane!

@@SWCentral Me too when I unsubscribed earlier this year. I mentioned it in the box where you can say why you've unsubscribed. It's nice to see a system like this happening but I think it needs to Evolve like SW Central is saying. I keep wanting a tug of war system where the dark side or the light keep fighting for sectors of space. So could do events on multiple planets to gain control whichever side has the majority of planets can take over that sector of space which then could provide buffs to light or dark players when entering those planets for that week. Until we see who wins the sector the following week and so on. I think it would be a fun and engaging idea along with certain rewards ofcourse.

@@chjonne5958you've been able to solo all heroics on the OG planets for years now, even while levelling with a low rep companion. The newer Heroic 4s can be tough but still possible to solo.

sub runs out in 7 days and this might be the last time it does. Another 15 bucks to go kill mobs on empty pointless leveling planets for some gear reskins that everyone will have. So non instanced Uprisings? Not that I care because the new "PVP seasons" are just trash rewards but it did force a few more bodies into the grinder but I guess they aren't going to add a new one of those either?
Huh, I don't know the details of rewards and while Hidden Chain set sounds quite good - it would be kinda fun to have one unique set of armor to each planet you could hunt for. *edit* Oh yeah, making a new World Boss or something along those lines that spawns after enough dynamic events are complete is a wonderful idea. Give it a unique drop chance on top of it and interest in these would go a long way. As it stands, I'm glad to have a lil more life on these big old worlds that don't get as much attention now.
For me this looks like its more for the "new player" then vet players. The player base that's STARVING for new fresh content like new classes new races and new planets to do things on will not happen again the vet player nothing new. Also if I already have high end gear and 20 different outfits then I have no interest in doing this because the reward is no good not worth the time to do. These "mini events" always get old in a few weeks to the point where nobody will do them which means those who are new and want to do them will have to solo them or spend hours making a group or if there lucky have a guild that does events then these "mini events" will turn into ghost events. Why do the Dev's always focus on content for new players and not for vet players?
Bioware dropped the ball years ago with the F2P change and the greedy marked change with the shift from 90% of Content that is for Ingame like Mounts, Cosmetics, Companions, etc, comes instead to the Cash-Shop with Zero real value and goal to play the game beside a joke of a story game. Hell even Star Citizen, an Pre-Alpha Game has more Content to play as SWTOR nowerdays^^ In SWTOR the World feels so empty, it hurts
This is cool. Not enough to bring me back to the game by any means, but it's a baby step towards it! Also, I agree that dynamic event chain bosses would be cool. Like world boss level encounters designed for many players, perhaps with a longer timer and/or health scaling to allow alternatives for smaller groups. Check out similar stuff in FFXIV fate bosses, like Archeotania, Ttokrrone, and Chi
As a newer player and returning these seem so very lame. Super low tech frags I have no idea why you would really do them unless you really wanted some of the outfits but ofc nothing drops that you want. Though I have gotten a mount, and as a new player they don't seem to be reskins, as we haven't seen the stuff most likely. Looked lame on pts, and is lame on live, guess would need to see how many tech frags per hour or whatever to compare if good but I susupect not.
So it's basically ESO dolmens (Dark Anchors on the main maps). A world event that is used to level toons but the more players in the group the bigger xp. But man the visuals though sucks unlike on ESO/GW2/FFXIV lol!
Yeah pretty much! Also you’re right, the visuals do suck, other games made these events look way more attractive. ESO has the action event with animated sequences to open up a “sky gate” Dolmen. GW2 has the ginormous bosses and amazing world design. SWTOR? Your NPCs stand there waiting for you and that’s it, so far. Good feedback.
@@chjonne5958 Why would they stop playing over that? Don’t be so silly. In this comment section we do not tell each other “don’t play then” because it’s the most trivial argument I’ve ever seen my entire life. Get out of here.
SWTOR doesn't have the money or appropriate sized team that it used to behind it anymore if we want it to go back to shadow of revan a KoTFE and KoTET levels free to play must go
This is such a bad attempt at new content i am actually worried about mental state of developers. Reskins and no other incentive will turn this into forgotten content and we will be back to square 1
I am very sorry, this is not for me! I came here for an epic story, but the story is long past. Dynamic events may have made sense for GW2, but they discarded the epic char story of GW1 for a more centralized experience. Everyone shares the same experience. And so do the SWTOR players now. SW was such an enormous part of my life but now it has lost its appeal. Sure, the personalized story was not very personalized, for every Inquisitor it was the same story for example and the fleet swarmed with Darths, but hey it was interesting to get there! But now the journey is at its end.
To be fair there's no such thing as a personal story in most RPGs. You always end up with a minimal amount of important choices and changes due to the limitations of gaming so you can't really knock an MMO in which there's other players to consider
