that is equivalent of removing nukies because people get tired of getting nuked. or removing the janitor job because people get tired of being slipped by water
@@Grypho Well also it was really barebones, there werent that many effects, and were mostly just an annoyance rather than an interesting gameplay mechanic. So instead of adding to the game it just got in the way, so since it wasnt getting updated much it was just removed
So, generally speaking, you want to mutate it until it gains the symptom you want, then make a bunch of copies and use chemicals to remove symptoms until the virus ONLY has the symptom you want, and no other symptoms. Then you make copies of that and store them in the fridge. Once you've got all the symptoms you want on separate viruses, you then mix the viruses to get a single virus that has all of them.
I love regen coma with memento mori. Ghetto ling. Shame they removed space adaptation, I loved that one with self respitation. You could live in space completely naked, and if you added sunlight healing... Yeah, that was great. As were nanites combined with it, extra armor, healing. You really could make yourself unkillable, and adapted to everything. The damn coders, man. The damn coders...
@@Gryphowell, it was *very* bad, and instead of making it better devs decided to just remove it. Ironicaly, virology rooms are still present on most (if not all) maps, but they are completely useless.
There used to be a virus feature in ss14 but ironically people got sick of being sick

@@GryphoI'll go ahead and say I wouldn't complain if they remohed nukies from SS14
@@fernando47180there'd have to be something to replace them otherwise you're pretty much playing non-antag extended.

yea its quiite complicated science I didnt show everything
In the case you combined the best viruses+mutations+bionics and maybe some antag items, could a greytider become the ultimate lifeform
creating airborne virus which causes everyone to go unconscious and not telling about it to anyone would be I imagine a way to be ultimate
