There should be a mouse king ascension, but with catches. You only gain points towards it for eating prepared meals, any mouse can run into botany and eat ingredients. Drinks below a certain tier are worth half points due to how easy they are to make, and because bartenders tend to leave drinks sitting around. You can be hand fed, but if more than 2/3rds of your points were gained by being hand fed AND the final points you received were from hand feeding, you owe yourself to your benefactor and become sentient being enslaved.
It would be really funny if after surviving for 5 minutes as a mouse you got a set of objectives like eat x bites of food, eat a [specific food], eat x bounty manifests, eat x artifact node printouts, ensure a [random person] survives/dies or "die a glorious death by chewing through a high voltage wire in engineering".
This is why I say we need more shitty neutral ghost roles to screw around as. Imagine a neutral anductors role that just sneaks onboard to scan R&D's servers, download crew data, scan fax machines, etc.
Been having fun with delta v and their dimensional paradox ghost role which spawns you in as a copy of another player, you may then befriend or kill the original, but you need to escape to centcom alive and unrestrained.
@@andrewgreeb916 i also really enjoy SS13's "tutorial" ghost roles, where you could spawn in a cryopod on a derelict station nearby, and learn lots of game mechanics while trying to get your station fixed and powered. It even had papers laying around acting as tips.
@@rubles3143 oh that would be so good for SS14 tbh. Currently the best tutorial available is just spawning as a passenger and goobin around. Which definitely has its charms, but it's not really a tutorial at all.
1:28 I've gotten into the monkey grab loop before, they should really do something to fix that because even when it looks like you've escaped the monkey AI can still somehow grab you again.
As a botanist I usually have so many apples it is not psychologically possible to eat them all. Mice cannot even dent it. Although I have had some psionic regeneration people try to eat them all. Psionic regen heals you but makes you hungry, the more you heal the hungrier you get. They grab entire plant bags of apples yet the pile only grows. Personally I only attack mice if they go after more useful produce.
Optional Objectives for non antagonists and random ghost roles could be a lot of fun. If you complete them all you get put on the end screen below the actual traitors.
Its great, right up untill the botanist expertly tosses you right into the grinder set to auto. Or they are leaving out laced food that OD your tiny mouse body in a single bite.
