I'd love to hear him perform songs off of his earlier Solo albums.. No doubt however his skill on Guitar has always been a steady climb. From great to God. Appreciated your comment. My all time favorite is his Remember That Night "On an Island" tour in '06. Specifically at Albert Hall. Best Bluray I own.
just heard this late, but it's a really rare major whiff on a note by a guitar master. his finger got stuck on the string early in the solo! pretty good recovery, and usually mistakes other guitarists can hear don't stand out, but this one was a doozy. :) still, what a great song by a guy who doesn't often venture into this level of self-reflection in songwriting (they always needed Roger for that). Thanks for posting it.

+Lee Ross His guitar was way out of tune, Once he took off the Capo, his guitar was instantly out of whack. That's a hard thing to get right, and generally when I have the capo set right, it stays there for the remainder. Today I would imagine he would play this with an acoustic on a stand, then switch to the Strat when the time came.

Saw this tour it was amazing, what a year saw Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Scorpions, this and Roger Waters all same year. Lot of beer, weed and acid,GOOD TIMES.
