I don’t think that anything in a Jackie Chan film should qualify as bad acting. They’re not acting. They’re just getting through the bits in between brilliantly choreographed fights.
Greg, your sketches ARE way better than any of those films (legitimately), and your guests have far more chemistry, humor, and frankly looks than any of the "actors" in those films. I enjoy a "bad" movie as much as the next guilty pleasure, but I honestly love your understanding and love of the CRAFT of cinema. I know you meant it sort of as a joke, but keep it up, dude. You're right about the guy also being the director. Neil Breen's acting credits pretty much match his directing credits. No coincidence there. He's not just awful at writing, directing and acting, but is also so far up his own ass that it's a wonder he isn't inside-out by now. You HAVE to watch Samurai Cop...it will change your life!!! The main guy that plays SC obviously had to come back for reshoots after he cut his hair. And the wig he wears is unbelievable!!! The movie is so bad but so effing entertaining. The acting is awful, the fight scenes are atrocious, the sex scenes come out of nowhere and the ADR is hysterical! Enjoy!!! Love the channel!
This video is funny because it features the movie Samurai Cop, which I've never seen, but I was friends with Roberts Z'Dar who stars in it but you only see in this video for a split-second. The brief amount of footage I saw in this video of Samurai Cop is enough for me to know that I never want to watch it, but unfortunately if I did Robert passed away a few years ago and isn't around for me to discuss it with him. Robert's claim to fame was Maniac Cop also starring Bruce Campbell.
