No wonder I'm struggling to kick-start my new 500 Pegasus! I should know better, being seventy years old and motorcycling since I was fifteen on mostly Brit bikes, including Enfields in 1968 and again in 1882! I also ride a 40 year old Harley Ironhead, which is more powerful than the Enfield, which is just as much fun to ride :) Anyway, I must be getting forgetful and having too many senior-moments! My friends who own bullets have problem while starting so I planned to go for Electric start model though I am more in love with the bullet 350 kick start with the enfield badge. Due to the bs 6 norms the price have increased and my budget is tight. But thanks to your video i think i can easily kick start a bullet 350. I'll be purchasing the new dark green bs 6 bullet 350 this year after the lock down. Thanks Mate

Art of kick starting a bullet is in g2 because it has so many moving parts like the carb tapet decompresser the amp trigger and then the kick-starting method. But I have this face every morning with no clue if it will start or not but the joy it gives when it starts cold in morning 😌nirvana

Really sir ,its so easy to start...previously I was facing so much difficult while starting, with applying lots of pressure, bt your simple step made me to start MY new RE classic.. self is not necessary im feeling now, very easy to start with single kick that to without much effort... It is a good practice to depress the clutch lever and give the kicker a swing or two, so that the sticky clutch plates get loose. Otherwise when transmission it put in the first gear there may be a chance of grinding the gears as the clutch action is not good.

Shiv Shakti Hi sir thanks for watching my video and giving me your valuable feedback . Regarding the indicators you have to make proper marking and drill holes in both the side. You need two holes one big one and one very small one on both the sides . Please get it done from a experienced mechanic, if the measurements is not correct then your indicators won’t align properly and the whole setup will look dirty. After marking the points for drilling put small punch using any sharp object so that the drill bit won’t slip , if it slips then your paint will get scratched . Hai mundodi.. I have a little doubt. Is it applicable to a second or third starting.. I mean , suppose After cold starting in the morning Iam traveling around 40 km and kept the vehicle for a while for rest. And IAM again take this bike for a ride after 6 or 7 hours. In between these duration 7 or 8 hours in the SAME DAY need this procedure, Such as clutch free releasing, free kick around 10 times, 30 second ideling. Pls reply
Hello brother, no you don’t need to repeat the same procedure again unless you live in a really cold area and you haven’t used your bike for more than 8 hours . But overnight if you keep your bike idle it is always best to follow this step early in the morning.

I am facing cold start problem with my new RE classic... Kick lever is very hard to kick in the morning time... So I have to start by pressing self start frequently or otherwise to use my other bike for riding...

Alpesh Parmar hello sir thank you for your valuable feedback, i forgot to mention about carburettor and engine manifold , if air leak is there near manifold bike will give problems in staring also your pickup will reduce . So you can try tightening the manifold using screwdriver.
Reflectors on forks are looking awesome bhai.....i want it...please let me know when in stock....and what have you installed near the clutch lever...is it RPM meter?
INTERNET LAG if your bike is a bs4 then forget about thumph ! Usually standard 350 has better thump then all other 350’s , may be you can try using a exhaust rubber, apart from this there are people who use empty bend pipe or remove some baffle from stock exhaust, but i don’t suggest you to do so , thank you please like share and subscribe for new contents

Thanks I have a Yamaha nobody tell this I have seen lot of people struggle with royal enfield Bullet. I was not knowing the kicking 3 times before start and the clutch lever compress and decompress . I have a doubt if we press the kick lever from top to bottom it may ruin the drive axle so in my motorcycle owners manual it is written to do half kick . I have learned the hard way from top to bottom it destroyed my drive axle my motorcycle is 125cc Yamaha Thanks Sir

That is from the kicker lever. It didn’t open properly from the joint . I mean the folding and opening mechanism at the bottom . So that made a sound .

Back kick is common in all Royal Enfield’s . But if there is too much back kick that means there is some problem with engine compression, which can be adjusted by a experienced mechanic.

Alpesh Parmar Hello sir first of all thanks for watching my video video and asking me your doubts , First check your battery some times even in new bikes battery will be faulty and bike will give starting problem frankly even i have faced the same problem, just swap it from any other bullet then try using it for one day , hope your problem will rectify, i had to replace my battery within 6 months of purchase. Then check your fuse it might be loosely connected, also spray some rust off spary in to your ignition key hole , some times in some positions neutral light wont glow, you might have come across that situation, then check your spark plugs lead cables and also the spark plug gap and also clean your plug better to change it . Both primary and secondary plug is to be changed. Even now if the bike is giving you same problem then you may have to adjust your carburettor. I will send you a carburettor tuning video link. You can do it yourself. Also i forgot to mention about airfilter please clean it .

You started the bullet in a wrong way. First, You push the kick slowly. Then give powerful second blow and keep it down till the bike starts slowly, without accelerating.

Shiv Shakti Hi sir thanks for watching my video and giving me your valuable feedback . Regarding the indicators you have to make proper marking and drill holes in both the side. You need two holes one big one and one very small one on both the sides . Please get it done from a experienced mechanic, if the measurements is not correct then your indicators won’t align properly and the whole setup will look dirty. After marking the points for drilling put small punch using any sharp object so that the drill bit won’t slip , if it slips then your paint will get scratched . Indicators and headlight bulb should come in straight line . Anyways thank you so much for asking questions. Please like and share my videos with your friends. Hai mundodi.. I have a little doubt. Is it applicable to a second or third starting.. I mean , suppose After cold starting in the morning Iam traveling around 40 km and kept the vehicle for a while for rest. And IAM again take this bike for a ride after 6 or 7 hours. In between these duration 7 or 8 hours in the SAME DAY need this procedure, Such as clutch free releasing, free kick around 10 times, 30 second ideling. Pls reply
Hello brother, no you don’t need to repeat the same procedure again unless you live in a really cold area and you haven’t used your bike for more than 8 hours . But overnight if you keep your bike idle it is always best to follow this step early in the morning.

I am facing cold start problem with my new RE classic... Kick lever is very hard to kick in the morning time... So I have to start by pressing self start frequently or otherwise to use my other bike for riding...
Sir please get your carb cleaned and ask your mechanic to clean it properly. Also replace your spark plugs. Hope your battery is in good condition.

Alpesh Parmar hello sir thank you for your valuable feedback, i forgot to mention about carburettor and engine manifold , if air leak is there near manifold bike will give problems in staring also your pickup will reduce . So you can try tightening the manifold using screwdriver.

INTERNET LAG if your bike is a bs4 then forget about thumph ! Usually standard 350 has better thump then all other 350’s , may be you can try using a exhaust rubber, apart from this there are people who use empty bend pipe or remove some baffle from stock exhaust, but i don’t suggest you to do so , thank you please like share and subscribe for new contents

Thanks I have a Yamaha nobody tell this I have seen lot of people struggle with royal enfield Bullet. I was not knowing the kicking 3 times before start and the clutch lever compress and decompress . I have a doubt if we press the kick lever from top to bottom it may ruin the drive axle so in my motorcycle owners manual it is written to do half kick . I have learned the hard way from top to bottom it destroyed my drive axle my motorcycle is 125cc Yamaha Thanks Sir

That is from the kicker lever. It didn’t open properly from the joint . I mean the folding and opening mechanism at the bottom . So that made a sound .

How to avoid back kick on my standard 350??
Back kick is common in all Royal Enfield’s . But if there is too much back kick that means there is some problem with engine compression, which can be adjusted by a experienced mechanic.

Alpesh Parmar Hello sir first of all thanks for watching my video video and asking me your doubts , First check your battery some times even in new bikes battery will be faulty and bike will give starting problem frankly even i have faced the same problem, just swap it from any other bullet then try using it for one day , hope your problem will rectify, i had to replace my battery within 6 months of purchase. Then check your fuse it might be loosely connected, also spray some rust off spary in to your ignition key hole , some times in some positions neutral light wont glow, you might have come across that situation, then check your spark plugs lead cables and also the spark plug gap and also clean your plug better to change it . Both primary and secondary plug is to be changed. Even now if the bike is giving you same problem then you may have to adjust your carburettor. I will send you a carburettor tuning video link. You can do it yourself. Also i forgot to mention about airfilter please clean it .

You started the bullet in a wrong way. First, You push the kick slowly. Then give powerful second blow and keep it down till the bike starts slowly, without accelerating.
