My E85 is destined for this treatment. I'm buying everything second hand, then refurbishing, so I can replace the entire assembly in one. I don't have a garage and it's my main car for now so, this is the way 😊

i had exactly the same thing when doing the parking brake cables, i couldnt get them out, couldnt get them in, and when i had them in, they had to be the other way around. I had to do it on the ground in the rain.
