Happy haul! I use these gel crayons mostly for quick backgrounds. I bought a small set of bullet tipped sponge blender pens (make-up dept. of course) which I'm enjoying more than application with the brushes but we'll see. I've only used them for one double page spread in my new coloring book "Fantastic Worlds". It's a very unusual book for me filled with fantastical creatures. I was looking for something that would really push my realism only self into a book where the bright colors of Inktense pencils would seem "normal". Glad to see you got the opaque white. It does need to be greatly watered down and if you find it is still hard to color over the white area - erase some of the white until you can add other products. Don't worry there will still be enough opaque white to cover what you covered. I find using a water brush the easiest way to apply a watered down product in one fell swoop. I used their resistance property recently to pre color the yellow stamen (mixed yellow water color paint with opaque white) in small, bright red flowers. I knew my red would not always stay within the petal lines but when it tried to jump on my pristine yellow stamen the red failled to make an unwanted mark. Hope you enjoy everything. ♿👵🎨 Barb.N.
I’ve got some really bad used books, holes cut out, missing pages, black marker scribbled on numerous pages etc., and I have gotten some in excellent condition. I always got refunded for the bad ones. Buying used is worth the try in my opinion. Thanks for sharing 😁
I Love Long videos & I also thought your gold veined background looked great! Thanks & take care!

Great tip on erasing to rough up the white. I have a sand eraser that should work! Happy coloring, ~Tracy
