Seeing Mario walk across the red void with the distorted Bach badinerie, such an awesome ending to a weird video, I'd say a finale like that is worthy of being in a great horror movie.

I like it. 0:38 is a bit stupid, as well as 3:07 and any "demon" message. I think it would be more scary if no messages or explanations whatsoever were given. Perhaps a cyphered message, but nothing else. The ending part was also a bit meh. But I like other parts like 2:20, when you can only see the silhouettes of Mario and Yoshi's corpse. Sometimes, implying something can be more frightening than explicitly showing it. It's called "psychological terror", and there are many videogames such as Silent Hill that explicitly exploit this, as well as terror movies. That's why I don't like the idea of demonic messages. You're explicitly showing the audience the game is haunted, while it would be best to just imply it. I also like 0:48 to 1:34. Specially the part at 1:11. The image distortion looks like something that could be possibly achieved in the original console. Perhaps not with that much quality, but still achievable. I also like the detail of the almost unnoticeable shadow pursuing Mario, until it finally takes over the screen. Overall, it's good. It could be better, though. Most creepy-pastas base themselves on a previous owner that died. Take Ben for example. A fan of Majora's mask who drowns somehow and his soul gets trapped into the game's cartridge, somehow. I don't believe in ghosts or anything supernatural, but wouldn't it make sense, if a little kid died, and his soul tried to go back to something that was meaningful for him in life? Which would be, in this case, the game? Sure they added a lot of bullshit to that creepypasta, like the spirit communicating through Cleverbot and all. But I still wish something like that also happen in this one, rather than "oh mario, you couldn't save them, now you die".
