Prices similar to uk. You can get a pint of beer for 3.50 to 4 pounds. Cigarettes for around 3 pounds. This is a small harbour area he is walking. There is a lot more areas to see if your willing to walk a bit further. One thing main street can get really busy, so people can be in your face. Not good if you like wide open spaces
Lived in Gibraltar for some time and honestly mate you only covered about 10% of the rock. Forget the bars, crappy duty free tourist traps and even Ocean Marina and fish and chip shops. Visit the history in and on the rock; the WW2 tunnels, the caves, the skywalk, the cable car, the beaches on the Eastern side and so on. You missed most of Gib!
Can't believe someone thinks it's run down in places, the place is spotless all over... If they thought Gib was run down they would think Glasgow was a war zone 😂
Glasgow is definitely interesting...the last time I visited I went into a pub, during my time there the bar staff started fighting amongst themselves...a bit unexpected, it is usually drunken customers that do that sort of thing!

Don't beat yourself up over that easy mistake, I would have done the same Kevin. You do forget it's a little bit of Britain in the Med. Your videos would not be as entertaining with the odd mishap. 👍👍
We took tour up mountain in caves marble wear Elton John has done concerts baby land was there when I was there we’d drink on st patio in centre of town few nice hotels we went in for day drove from albuferia just to see it monkeys jumping about
We love Gibraltar and have had many happy holiday experiences over the last 30 years as our family has grown up....😀(going back in November.)... you've captured our favorite lunch venue at the waterfront...Thank you...now to picture us there xx 🙏Happy Days xx Our last trip was 2020 for our 60th birthday...it was fabulous.... I would defiantly recommend a visit 👌x
Hi Kevin don't beat yourself up over the charger issue, I'm sure you're not the first to do that, I've never thought of GIBRALTAR as a holiday resort, but it looks nice, enjoy and thanks again.
My wife’s grandparents lived at Kings Bastion when her father was born 1908. Her grandfather was in the British military. The Bastion then I believe was on the edge on the harbour but the ground was built up in front of it for development.

I think that mistake is forgiveable to yourself. Mind, wouldn't you take a normal GB charger for charging at the UK airport ? Often see people charging items at airports. I made two mistakes this week i.e...i bet money on Serena Williams tennis..2 different bets on her.....lost them both. Then i bet £5 on Andy Murray to win...lost that bet too. Decided only two sports i'm any good at betting on...Football and Golf. Live and learn.
Caoimhin when you went for that pint did you ask the staff could they charge your phone and explain that you are promoting their bar to 25k viewers on you tube they would of had a spare 3 pin plug no doubt .hope the pint went down well 😀🙃
Different marina, this one was Queensway Quay. You probably saw the old Sheppard's Marina or Marina Bay, which is still there, but now joined to Ocean Village which is nicer.
Kev, Gib looks great, but wouldn't change it for Spain or the Canaries. A fella is in the Gents when another fella stands right next to him, he begins to wee and splashes all over the first guy who says " oh for God's sake , look what you've done", he opologieses and tells him he has had this problem for a while, after cleaning up the first guy hands him a business card and tells him this guy can help, the second guy says "thanks, is he a doctor ?", he says no, he's a flautist, but he'll show you how to hold it. I live here buddy, there are areas in Gibraltar that are very run down, but they're kept well out of view of tourists.
Gibraltar is so lovely and clean. Went for a long weekend and just got back on Monday. I would definately recommend it.

Watched a documentary on Gibraltar called cops on the rock, interesting, like anywhere there is a dark side to gib.
I can believe anything you did (or didn't) do... easily done not having the correct plug when you've been mainly in Spain, after all!
