Pyroblast says "Destroy target permanent if it's blue", not "Destroy target blue permanent". The difference being, the first example can technically target permanents that aren't blue, but won't destroy them, while the second is restricted to only targeting blue permanents.
I really want to see a 5man commander game where everybody puts out an elesh norn. The last elesh norn to hit the table would wipe the the rest along with it

Fantastic game. What a crazy play with Ravages - hard to believe that card was ever printed! Really made for an interesting board state. Great interaction and game play. Love seeing deck variance. Awesome episode.

From the beginning of the game though, I was betting on Zack to win. His deck was still Spicy, but seemed like more of a typical CEDH deck just based off of his commanders. I thought Charles definitely had the most spice with his Wicked White ways... Hah!
Charles draws 7 from Wheel of Fortune. Because each of his opponents tried to draw 2 or more cards at once off of the wheel, the Alms Collector replaced their draw 7 effects with Charles and that opponent each drawing one instead.
Presenting the decks, you said Elesh is a he... Is that a mistake? Or "he" is correct? For me Elesh is a she, and a very femenine considering she is a preator.
Trying to understand here. The turn after Zack played serra ascendant... Why didn't charles attack Zack to get him under 30 life? Was this a misplay, or did Charles not want to lose one of his bears? Was he afraid that Mike would have a way to bring back his lands? Just trying to understand, seemed like Charles had it if he focused out Zack before Mike.
What I loved about this game is that this was just your good old casual beatdown win in cEDH. No crazy combos or anything, just punch your opponents to 0 like a boss.
If it makes you feel better you aren't necessarily missing out I looked into Mox Pearl tier and it was sold out last time I looked. (prolly changes based on how many games theg have booked.)
That pyroblast couldn't target the phantasmal image right? It copies the colour of the creature it copies and is a white creature on the board not a blue one anymore.
iirc because of the way it's worded it can target anything but will check upon resolution if the spell or permanent is blue. Whereas a card like Red Elemental Blast can only target blue cards because it specifies "target blue spell/permanent"

That chain of vapor at 9:03 was the game winning card. Once Zack stayed above 30 the lifegain was just too strong.
