This large, plug-in hybrid three row SUV is the new Lexus TX 550h+, a wonderfully quiet and comfortable new vehicle this year. I truly enjoyed driving this Lexus, and the all-electric 33 mile rated capacity more than met my expectations.

This is definitely a buy for me, due to its old and gold 3.5l v6 2gr series, been around since 2007. And plug in hybrid is a plus and 404 horsepower for this massive SUV is plenty enough, in past two years toyota/Lexus came out with lots of models, I would give them least 2-3 years until they fix any bugs on their tech and if any mechanical issues, and I just hope they update this model with panoroof and triple beam headlights, then it will well worth the price.
It has been a little over a week since I swapped it out, and honestly I miss it a little!
A couple of things: 22" rims are standard on the 550H+ (massive) Nice display of the HUD usage in this video. Nobody does that on video. The cupholders are kind of gimmicky but it would make them easy to clean I guess. So if you get the package it takes you over the $80K limit for $7500 tax rebate. I've seen published numbers of 11.6 sec 0-60 mph in electric only and about 5.6 sec 0-60 sec in full power sport mode. "Great bridger" sums it up perfectly.

My only concern is the recommended Premium gas that is about $1.00 more a gallon here in Central Wisconsin.
Can it run fine on 87 octane gas?
Yes, runs fine on 87 in Iowa.
