Phil and team Xbox really killed it this show. Megaton after Megaton and Gears 5 looks absolutely rebirthed like the new God of War (something this franchise really needed to do).

A day or two after the conference, I’m sure nobody gives that much of a shit about Halo Infinite not having “6” in the title, but Bonnie Ross, the head of 343, did say just before Halo 5 got announced that she didn’t want numbers in the titles anymore. So that might be why there’s no 6. Like, in her ideal world Halo 5 would just be called “Halo: Guardians”. Don’t really know how that still ended up with 5 though.

@@goonertron87 they do but at the same time their biased for the next big thing with eh next big engine and genre and games that cater to someone of their age group. gets in the way of actually critiquing a game who the audience is meant for.
They just seem so down on nintendo games for example or a lot of the popular indie titles I wish theyd remember a time when they were that target demographic and reviews games from that perspective instead of just shitting in it and not caring
There were a lot of games, but as someone with a decent PC, I still have no compulsion to by an XBOX One. Might buy these games for my PC though.
Being in the same boat, I still wonder about GPU prices. To play Cyberpunk, I will probably need to upgrade my Zotac GTX 1060 AMP 6GB and that upgrade will certainly be more expensive than an XBOX One will be then and even whatever follows that console might cost less. On the other hand I don't know if I would want to have a PC that couldn't play current games, based on titles who will not come to XBOX.
In the end, I am still more inclined to get a PS4 simply based on their exclusive lineup (Bloodborne, Horizon and God of War alone would convince me, but I would also need to get a new TV so..)

I thought opinions are subjective, not objective, so why would any opinion matter. I honestly don't care about sales, gears is made for grunts, and yeah I can appreciate the multiplayer might be good, but doesn't appeal to me personally.

MegaKagato come on, you have to admit this was a good show Sony can't match them this year.
Hiroko Takashiro Sony will be showing off a lot of true exclusives like Last of Us, Ghosts, and Death Stranding. That alone will likely give them the edge, considering all the big games not named Gears or Halo Microsoft showed off will be available on PS4 as well.

When you already know ahead of time most of the surprises, you can only fill that void with one thing.
They've been in the industry for nearly two decades. There is very little that excites them anymore. Jeff and Brad also know beforehand many of the titles that are going to be announced. They are very well connected. So it's okay if they don't all act like a bunch of fanbois screaming at every reveal.
The only thing I have to say is Battletoads was great, Dan is correct

Can't believe this guy is trying to say Battletoads is a bad game. It's like what people say about Dark Souls when they suck at playing it. So many memorable moments, the rope level, the snake level, the driving level, racing the rat, fun boss fights, ah man so good. I'm excited as hell to see them back next year.
