Hi - thank you for your video. I am thinking of backpacking through this section of trail.... did you happen to see places where one could stealth camp and was there access to any natural water sources along the way?
There is not a lot of water accessible on this route. There were a couple spots along the way that you may be able to grab some water , but it’s possible they will dry up very soon. You could grab some at chute lake lodge. Naramata Creek Falls would be another good spot, but you would be nearly at the end of your ride. As for stealth camping, there are lots of pullouts and intersecting trails and service roads, so I definitely think you could find a spot. Between the boulder fields and chute lake would be your best bet. Very little traffic. There is even a rec site at the Okanagan Boulderfields that is only a couple hundred metres off the trail you could use!
The hardest part of the ride - the one way logistics! I parked my own vehicle in Penticton on Riverside Dr. There is free parking during the day there. Then I got a ride to Kelowna and rode back from there.
We drove up to the Myra canyon parking lot and I thought it was a tough drive in a truck!! You are amazing.
Thanks! 💪🏾💪🏾
Cycling up to the Myra canyon parking lot is some long steep climb , you are a very strong rider.
Thank you! I always like to add a challenge 💪🏾
Did you go up Myra or June Springs? Have the route?
Hi! I started at KLO Regional Park and rode up McCulloh Rd to Myra Forest Service Rd up to Myra Canyon Trestles.

And how did you get back to your start?
