- Soon after we meet Manyari, Queen of her pride, she does something both unusual and bold. She leaves the sanctuary of the clan with her young cubs and takes them on a dangerous odyssey.
She makes a bid to escape because two young bloods are sniffing around, and if they take over the pride, they will kill her cubs. Out in the wilderness, away from the protection of the pride male and without her sister to help her hunt, Manyari is forced to take huge risks.

Manyari is the reason human mothers identify with being a lioness! Amazing how maturnal instinct and mother-child bonds go beyond species lines! ❤
I'm glad Shambocks offspring survived to adulthood. Manyari is an incredible lioness and mom. & her sister is a really good sister too. Left the males to go find her sister and children then stayed and helped finish raising them while letting Manyari recover from her injuries. Animals really are incredible beings. I'm glad she recovered from such a bad injury. Long Live The Queen.
His Majesty Jesus Christ has sent me on a mission with a message to tell the masses! Fear not, my brothers, your hunger shall be no more. He who dispenses the bread of life shall be your sustenance!
Nnnn guh 🥴
I'm a jaguar you bow to me I will save you@@jpraise6771
I didn't get a chance to watch the entire video, can anyone please tell me what happened to poor Manyari? Thanks
Why do people always have to start quoting religion when these are animal channels. If you want to preach they should be quoting scripture on religious channels not on animal documentary channels. I see it happen so often.
There is no love like that of a mother determined to protect and provide for her children. Manyari truly displayed the heart of a lioness. I wish there was another documentary on her life after she returned to her pride.
❤
Thank you to the people on the ground who dedicated themselves to documenting this story. Just fantastic.
i watched it twice, a few weeks ago, and again today. great story of a great queen and her sister lioness.
Same here ! Never get tired of watching big cats & what lengths the mothers will go to raise their cubs ❤👵🏻👩🌾❣️
This is an incredible story. Lions are iconic symbols of strength and power, but between pride takeovers and human interference, lions are vulnerable as any creature on this planet.
A wonderful film showing the life of Lions and showing how brave Manyari is. Thank you.
Not a new documentary for I have seen this before. Still love everything about this and how the sisters sacrificed so much to finish raising the cubs and distract the males from killing them.
I love watching documentary of lions, lionesses and their cubs. This story is definitely my favourite.
Wow, I thought she was a goner! This was one of the best Lion videos I've ever seen!
What a magnificent story worthy of books! What a resilient and wise mother! She was blessed at her weakest, God was moved by her sacrifice of injuring herself and sent her her sister .. waaw best lion story i’ve ever watched
A really unique Queens.
A lot of respect for Two lionesses, sisters, mothers. I hope stay safe and secure in their life.
😢 Damn these onions!!!
This is an amazing story.
I'm in my 58th year of life on this Earth. I've never heard of something like this happening before!
Seeing the cubs who stayed behind were killed is heartbreaking, but that is their way.
I hope the cubs that left survive on their own.
That Manyari survived those terrible wounds amazes me. I thought she was mortally wounded.
I hope you will continue to follow both the Split Rock Pride, and the Cub Refugees (for lack of another name.)
I would like to know how they fair in the coming years.
MANYARI IS AN incredible
not to mention
heroic lioness.
taking A huge
risk leaving the
pride with the
Cubs that The
males R TRYING to
finish them.
I have been watching manyari as lioness in exile. I have great respect for her bravery.
I'm glad that manyari's sister arrive to help and she's recovered 😸💖👍
That last frame, the Queens eyes, if we could read minds. Shes A Ma Zing!
Her sister came just in time to help her with them while she was hurt that scared me for the cubs I'm so glad they made it
This is the best episode all of the wildlife videos I ever saw . Including the explaining about them
Absolutely amazing the lions pride.
It would be nice if theirs a fellow up on cubs ❤ Love the video
Fabulous, brave & clever sisters to save their 8 cubs ! 🥰 Wonderful doc !
Manyari great queen .She and her sister got. The cubs to ndependents. Enjoy the documentary. Love the pain she had to endure to get to the other side. Most lionesses need to think like her and her sister. Incredible
So beautiful heartbreaking manyari she was a beast taking care eight cubs she was a bad lioness love he we for that
That is beautiful how the lionesses did that to save their cubs, in the nature of lion prides. Lives were saved
Beautiful documentary, Thank you!!! I love watching Documentaries about lions and wildlife, and this one is both interesting and enjoyable. I was pleased to see that they all survived and Manyari was able to claim her life back. Thanks to her sister. She sure did do things differently. And lived to see another day. Magnificent!!!
Well narrated , i wish more from you.
Thank you for uploading this documentary. I never was really interested in looking at lion documentaries. But now I love them. This is the first time i've seen this one.
Damn!.. Lions are very different and they always surprise me on their behavior.
Back in the 90s there was a wild life documentary from National Geographic called The Lions of the Dark which was about the Lions hunting at night.
Love that almost every shot is of a different lion. XD one time the two males have almost no mane, the next shot, the two males have full black and brown manes, one shot the male has half a tale, the next, a full tail. Like bruh. I call cap xD
I understand your perspective but think the story is the point.
Thanks for sharing 😊
Menyari where did you get your inner strength and courage? All mothers should be like her- lion and human alike 😇
Animal societies are not that different to human society IMO. It's only once in a while you see someone that will confront danger head on and risk their life in order to succeed or fulfil their responsibilities as a mother like Manyari did. In saying that she's a very unique lioness.
LOVE IT❤❤
There are two extraordinary lioness stories, this one belongs to Manyari, the other belongs to Matimba who raised white lions
amazing documentary so much love from zimbabwe
Ahhhhhh! The lovely story of Manyari, her sister n cubs. Beautiful ( old story...are they still alive?)Shamrock must be dead by now🦁💥
It would be very nice to know what became of Manyari's life after she returned to her pride.
@@inthekitchenwithbigmomma5941 I'd love to know💥
@inthekitchenwithbigmomma5941 I think it's more of the same they now have 2 males in their prime protecting them so I guess have new cubs with the new leaders
Welcome Ireland... Again...Thanks NYPD
The males are very handsome! What did the Rangers name them?
Yes slice took this from another documentary...Which there aren't any new docs I think I've seen them all...But it's time for some new ones..
So much for seeing so good
Manari the Queen of the Safari ❤
visit my country zimbabwe you will enjoy the wildlife in their natural environment
Towards the beginning of movie....after the nomads take a short nap..head female checking game,Seems just before this stampede there is a ghost lion running..wow
Welcome to the world of wildlife documentary series, SliceWild!
Spliced in a scene of Mr T walking with that 1/2 of a cub.
I was just about to post the same thing. That was definitely Mr. T when he came back after kinky tail was killed.
I'm not the only one then. I'd swear they have scenes from at least 3 different documentaries here
I hate that they cheat audience 🤬
Helllll Naw the 70s pimp music when she hunting in the dark I HAVE NEVER
Love how you show 2 males in the thumbnail pic 😂 quoting lionesses 😂
12:00-12:30 or so is confusing. It had manyari on a buffaloes back with the other lionesses surrounding then when the intruder male that looks different than the one shown arrives and takes the Buffalo the landscape goes from bush to more open area and no other lionesses anywhere near. Then it shows the Buffalo being taken down then about 30 secs later she says they are still struggling to take down the Buffalo. I'm gonna give the benefit of the doubt to the documentary but I really hate it when people take scenes from different documentaries and often different animals all together and try to put them together as one
This whole story has been documented awhile back, so ALL of this is borrowed. This is the first time ive ever even seen Slice, and it’s a ripoff from others. Hmmm…🤔☹️
I hope they start having the vets care for these poor animals! Are there opium plants around there?
Um....the point is to respect WILD life and keep it wild without human intervention. Believe it or not, humans don't always know best even if the intentions are good.
Need one about their cubs, wonder how they are doing?
If you watch savage kingdom I wonder what would happen if sekekama and shambock were to battle it out
I don't know about anyone else, but it would drive me insane to have someone licking my face first thing in the morning!!😂
Isn't this part of another documentary?
Did shambock ever return to reclaim his pride?
They weren't searching for a new family. Manyari was protecting her cubs from an inevitable takeover which would have resulted in her cubs being killed. Her sisters cubs followed along when she left the pride. Her sister was tracking her because of that
Going hunting i’m sure it is like going to the supermarket! In some places just as dangerous!
OMG THAT POOR CUB
OMG I feel so bad for her I wish I could help her
I think you need a bigger watermark!
I need sisters like that
Hey isn't this also "Lioness In Exile"?
Hospitals like to heal by 3 Rd intention! That is what a wound vacuum does! No abscesses! It probably hurts like hell and if it were me I could not stand the pain!
👍
They could not bring down a Buffalo, how did they bring down a giraffe?
a girl's gotta do what she has to do!
5:10 narrator making a wisecrack
How long a period is this?
Do the younger cubs find their father
This seems early 2000s
The marauding young males are the punks, spike, mohawk, Axel!
can you make chmpanzee documentary new series
Youngbloods have a name?
I get confused about loving or hating lions but seeing that wound that lioness had from the tree had me feeling very sorry for her
Why would you EVER hate lions?
The point is to RESPECT the wild lions. You don't need to love or hate them to have respect for their lives.
what happened the lion with injuries... did i miss it?
In the original documentary, while they didn’t show it there either, but did explain, she was skewered on a jagged stump in the ground.
Thanks for that particular info, but i was curious if the lion survived or eventually died..hanks@@MH-en9qc
EL ORIN DE LA LEONA AMACHO LEguta permaneser
So t GG e Buffalo is good in dark than lions never got hurt 😂 thumbs up for buffalo
Warning! dead cubs in video!!!
Are they still alive
Thanks sudah mengangkat kisah ibu singa dan saudarinya yang hebat
Not a stampede but when ya see the 1 buffalo come in you see it
This is an old documentary; nonetheless, I still wonder why the rangers didn’t dart her and sew her up??
Betul
Because they don't intervene with nature. The Rangers are there to protect the animals from poachers and other human threats.
Anesthetics can kill a wounded animal
Not sure if that ragtag bunch of sub-adults would make it.
3 babies were killed!
Excuse me !! But did I just see a lion pre on another lion ??!!??
(#JESUS #CRISTO #LION #GOD)
Manyari means Buffalo killer 😅, Africans do your own documentaries please 😅
This is a made up documentary. The first sign was the supposed fight with Shambock and the other nomads, when what was supposedly Shambock being cast out, if you look closely the featured lion was a completely different lion, the clue… his mane was bigger and thicker than Shambock. Shambock’s mane was the first thing that stood out to me because it was quite small, and I remember from a different lion documentary it was said that the thickness of a male lion’s mane was due to his level testosterone. I hope people are aware of these scamming documentaries and the silly commentary of the narrator!! “ Shambock will be angry Manyari left and took the cubs “ WHAT….that is now how animals function! Write a fictional book if you just want to tell a story instead giving false info of how a wild animal is wired instinctively
The lion with the wounds,is used in so many made up storys what a shame lies.
This is few years old isn't it??? Not new.,,,, I hate it when someone else post documentary as new😡😡 isn't there any new documentary for 2023?????
Thank you, and the person has the audacity to put the channel name as if it’s his
Tapi ntah siapa sebenarnya yang asli yg mempunyai film ini. Di postingan lain namanya Maida(ratu singa betina) , disini manyari namanya😊
