if Kurt Cobain was channelling Townes Van Zandt attempting to write a David Allen Coe song. Brilliant stuff, superb country sounds and cerebral nihilistic themes.
It was actually John Prine and Steve Goodman that wrote the David Allen Coe song that's considered the "greatest country song ever written," but this a great analogy...when I first heard this song I literally thought this might be the greatest country song ever written

It’s 2022 and I just found 49 and can’t stop listening. Now I get to see them live at Floydfest. Life is good.

I met these Ole boys up in Castlewood. Shucks it been years ago. I like the fact they recorded in Bristol, the Jimmie Rodgers yodel can be heard in this. You must be able to feel the vibes there.
