We wore level 4 PPEs... | Day 1 of Face to Face Classes | Medical School Philippines

- Had our first day of face to face classes after almost 1 year of doing online class! Learned a lot of clinical skills that week!
My name's Gio Ilagan, a fourth year medical student from ASMPH. Recently, our school got approval from the IATF and CHED to hold limited face to face classes in our campus, before we actually head to the hospitals (sadly, rotations will be pushed back a week or so, so its back to online classes for the meantime again). The week I shot this video, my batch was the only batch in school, so we were spread out throughout the entirety of the building to make sure that social distancing was maintained! That's why you barely see anyone in the hallways hahahah

To our future colleague: this is your history! Prove that despite of different way of learning due to current pandemic, you can also be one of us helping the nation as a health worker. I'm proud of you. You don't quit even in this difficult times. Keep it up doctors!
As a medtech freshie, this was a great help kasi donning and doffing ang recent lesson namin. Padayon, future MDs :)
I never knew this would be fun and interesting to watch "face to face classes" that statement feels a long time ago😅

This is so satisfying! Keep Safe po, Kuya Doc!

Yung pati pag aaral push talaga yung mga healthcare courses. Walang choice. Need talaga natin yung clinical setting practice, knowledge isn't enough. Glad to know na some schools are establing Lf2f classes. Kami nagsusurvey pa. God Bless Doc
Wow!! This is interesting! ☺️ Thank you for sharing ganito pala sa med school. And even more interesting due to pandemic, i bet mas mahirap ngayon ang way of learning ng med students
I think you and my sister are batch mates. Goodluck to you guys! Stay safe during your clerkship! #22gether!
Go go go doc Gio!!!

More vlogs like this plsss!!
sana you will leave things/gifts sa table instead of sliding it on the floor area. cos the ground would be one of the most unsanitary places as droplets spread and eventually falls down. good luck po with your studies!
well baka naman sinanitize nila ulit yung mga things para mas safe
HAHAHA you're right, thanks for pointing that out!! But yea the gifts were in ziplocks naman, so it was easy to sanitize afterwards hehe
@@eijinuweyi1954 yep you got that right!
Sana all back to school 🥺🥺🥺🥺

Fly High Future Healthcare Workers😍❤
Ang cute nyo po at yung isa niyong kasama na doky HAHAHAHA
Napadaan lang but seeing this gives me motivation just by seeing how the setup looks like.
Good that ateneo already started! Mine will start in March, but we can choose which months we want to come in. Also, because it’s limited face to face we will be having skills lab too in the stimulation center.
All the best po! 👍🏻
I guess that's the safest option! good luck!!
Take care doctors! I hope you're all safe 🥺
Naaliw ako😂😅
More videos of your clerkship experience doc gio!!! 🥰
❤️
ASMPH is so ready wowww
someday i'll be a med student din 😊
Why they throw item below the floor.. i thought below waist is considered unsterile ..
i miss my med school days.
As a future med school student, this gives me a glimpse of what would happen since it would take a while before the pandemic subsides.
Thanks for this, Doc Gio! Keep safe!
no prob!! hopefully with the vaccines, school can go back to "normal" sooon
NEW INTRO WOW
huh HAHAHA "NEW"
ok yan pag aircon pag wala aircon mainit masyado
Everytime I saw someone with my same surname. Hahaha ILAGAN! Fighting
*sana ol ganyan kachill pagdating sa tusok tusok* 😂
mukhang chill lang pero kabado sa loob!!
Naol mayaman makapagmed ganitonh school
Can’t relate. I’m a 5th year med student in Europe and I just had a class today where the Doctor pulled down her mask to cough. Asides from us, the students, wearing masks, there are no other safety protocol. We’re not even practicing safe social distancing protocols. LOL
Yooo I thought my country was worse.
sadly, with how things are going here in the Philippines right now, the risk of getting the virus is still pretty high, hence all the safety measures. you guys are lucky in Europe, I suppose things are a little bit more lax!
dude i am waiting for my clerkship, the vaccinations are really late :) be safe
heard that more schools will be allowed to have f2f in the coming months tho! so good luck on that!
Hello Doc!! Curious lang po :) Which guidelines are u following during donning and doffing of PPE? I think it's different po from CDC? Thank you and good luck to your clerkship!!! :>
Up! Me too I wanna know
Level 4 PPE? Ganyan din gamit namin sa site pero balit tawag ng mga safety officer dun level 3 PPE. hahahaa
Thats level 3 tlga haha. Level 4 is double ata. Yung meron isol gown at hasmat?yung puti.personal sauna😅
phleb is so satisfying!
ahhhh sanaol huhuhh i hope ls also allows limited f2f classes next sy na :(((
What year are you po?
Im a medical clerk, 4th year med school :)
What is that? Why throw things on the floor? Floor's dirty.
Ikr thats also my comment here..
Walang Hair Cap?
hair cap is needed in the operating room, but optional everywhere else where level 3-4PPE is required, as long as you have a hood
hassle pero push
like me doctor soon good luck
Goodness why I'm still afraid of syringe 💉💉 :(
sobrang init nyan..
SOBRA
@@GioIlagan worth it naman sa huli hahaha😩
Doc may nagpapatanong if single ka ba daw shy yung friend ko itanong. Thanks po in advance.
After you all graduates, don't forget that if the government is still treating you like shit here in our country, go overseas where they give better benefits and pay.
Bat parang Ang saya mag med school pero di kaya ng utak ko hahaha
...ako nga rin minsan eh...kaya pa-vlogvlog na lang ako joke 1/2 HAHA
@@GioIlagan 🤣🤣
