That's perfect, for both psoas and piriformas muscles. So far have only done it from the table position. When my calf muscles have loosened up a bit more so I can keep my balance, I'll graduate to doing it from downward dog. Thank you so much, Maria!
Hi Marie, I'm puzzled by this. All other instructors are showing this pushing your leg straight up and not curving it around to the side. I actually found your version painful on my lower back.
Hi, thanks for commenting. I always suggest doing what feels better for your body. Not every movement works for everyone so it's important to listen to what feels good for you. This is just ONE way of doing something, not the only way, so go with what works for you and don't force something that doesn't feel correct. Sorry for the delay in responding.
