  • You would not believe the dirt that came out of this rug. It was orange !!
Although the rug was badly damaged, it held some sentimental value and the clients wanted it professionally washed to then have it repaired at a later date.
I hope you find this a relaxing video and if you do id love to know about it, so let me know in the comments section.

Love how foamy the scrub gets, but my fave bit is the hose under rug rinsing, that is when you truly realise just how dirty the rugs are. Great job and Merry Christmas!

TBH, not sure if this rug was worth saving, but, sentimental value is true value. Would love to see how this would be repaired. Good work, as usual!

@@judylapointe3507 generally true; but, we don't always have control over the things we value. in which case others can allow them to fall into disrepair. (I'm thinking of my grandparents house right now; fortunately, a very talented carpenter bought it....but, lost to my family)

How is it you are able to scrub up the wool rugs with your brushes and not cause felting or fluffing of the fibers? I have always understood wool needed to be handled with least disturbance to prevent felting during the washing process, but here you guys are, scrubbing up these rugs with scrapers and brushes and producing beautiful results.

    So sad.
The customer told him that this rug had for him a sentimental value, and looking at the damaged part I know why.
Probably, this was the rug where he had seen a little puppy biting something new, then the puppy grown up and become a young dog, sleeping over the rug when the floor was too cold.
At the end, this have been the rug where the once puppy went to take its final nap.
Now the rug is empty at the eyes of other people, but for the owner his puppy is still there, in his memories.
Better leave him in the clean, so he will rest peacefully and happy.

@@MountainRugCleaning I am not saying this because of your work, which seemed excellent to me, I am thinking of the client who may have something this dirty and also without economic value (it is a very ordinary carpet) and broken, add the repair and you can buy a much better one😀.
