Love Jason a lot. My daughter went out with Jason in the 8th grade. He wasn’t allowed to go to the middle school dance but I took he and Shannon out to eat afterwards. Jason dressed up that night and made Shannon feel special.

Oh Jason.....I love you and have for many, many years and been to countless numbers of shows. I understand wanting to change things up a bit....but my honest opinion....this just isn't you. I'm sorry. You probably don't hear that kind of criticism from your fans....but all I could think of while watching was how awkward it looked and I felt uncomfortable wondering where 'my' Jason went. ❤

To me this is a great performance where Jason shines as a complete entertainer.
@@rci385 I wasn't looking at it relative to any 'flaws'...I suppose the performance itself was flawless. I was in no way criticizing his ability to perform. It's just that I have been watching and listening to him for years and this song/routine was so outside what I consider the 'norm' for Jason that it made it feel awkward to me. It was just too different. I don't know how ' to say it.....ummm....think of someone you know who is always relaxed, very down to earth, and wears comfy clothing. They suddenly decide to wear a formal Tuxedo with tails (aka 'penguin suit') and dance a waltz. It's not that the tux/waltz aren't perfect....it's just that the person looks awkward and out of place wearing/doing it. Hope that makes sense.
