The Liverpool train’s a beauty!! I can appreciate the style of modern trains, but not really the comfort. For comfort, give me a good Mk1 Pullman carriage any day of the week!!
Great video Les some great captures there , nice to see the old T P E 68s being put to good use, T P E rekon they are too expencive to keep running mmm perhaps if they get serviced properly they might be ok i dont here D R S complaining . once again Les many thanks for posting loved it take care a t b syd👍
Thanks Syd. I caught up with a few TPE 68s yesterday and realise they are way to noisy to be passenger locos. I think its the noise that is making them unpopular.
Well, it was the department of Transport that now owns them that decided that there were too many types in the TPX fleet, and they must be pretty expensive to run
Ahhh, yes, always good when it starts off with a Royal Mail, and even a TPE shows up. Some 68s (slowly becoming my favorite modern UK loco) and the usual 66s, Avantis, and freight! Oh yes, and the 90 lol
Boa tarde leslie movimentação de trem bom domingo ai
Thanks
Very good Leslie...nice variety again.
Thanks Tim
I certainly appreciate the rainbow trains that come through!! It’s a great livery for video makers!!
I agree with you - any unit in a different to usual paint scheme brightens up the scene
Great video as usual Les. The coupling covers on the 397s look a bit odd not painted.
Thanks. They've been like that for several years now.
If you’re in the area, pop in at the Epping Ongar Railway for our Santa Specials and Trains of Light.
It would be interesting to visit although a long drive away

I can agree with you there, provided the cushions haven't sunk
You’ve taken some great diesel locomotives for this video!! Even the multiple units are attractive!!
Thank you very much!

Quite a mix eh? Thanks Anthony
Nice video leslie very good camera work as usual
Glad you enjoyed it
As usual great video Sir Les. Are the 90s just for refreshing the drivers for the route or is there a new flow starting? Thank you for sharing.
I was told a batch of new drivers needing Class 90 experience. Thanks for watching.
Would I be right in thinking that the diesel Class 66 is the diesel equivalent of the Class 9F, as in Evening Star?
In a way yes - but around in much greater numbers and with wider availability
1st viewer Les, nice vid, my vid from my visit to Carlisle is on YT now
I will check it out. Thanks for watching Kev
Good to see *some* companies trying to increase the use of electric traction
I suspect they are alone
Is 0C52 usually a 90?
It has been I believe. Crew training on 90s. I was told that Freightliner had recruited new drivers.
