I finally found the owner's manual. Have you read it? Three things that may relate to your problems. 1. Properly calibrate your Drone 2. Use the "One key take off button" the top button on the right side of you controller with an arrow up & down on it. 3. This drone is easily effected by breezes. That's about all I can tell you.
