Thank you, Cassie and Quincy... We just booked the Disney Wish for our daughter's birthday after seeing this video.
From what I've heard, at sea laws about explosives and SOS systems. So unless it's a federal or military vessel explosives are pretty much banned other than flare guns for emergency situations. DCL somehow got an exception, probably due to the low amount of ships other leverage of some sort. Royal Caribbean has 60+ active ships, so if they were allowed to have fireworks then it'd be too much activity interfering with sightlines for flares vs five ships for Disney at scheduled times.

what i try to do is meet as many of the cruise entertainment personnel as possible as soon as possible and do as many of the trivias, bingos, etc. as possible. even though i'm a lousy artist, i even took a drawing class my last cruise!
Cassie and Quincy, you know it's going to be great. If there was just a little Fry Bucket it would be perfect. Absolutely Love when Cassie is in the videos she is so sweet and very pretty and just a joy to watch. Quincy has really come into her own since taking over the reigns and is just a pleasure to watch. But if we could have more Cassie I would not complain at all.

I always feel for Quincy. I can go out in the sun for hours with no sunscreen and I never burn, I just tan but poor Quincy has to have layers of sunscreen and clothing. Fun video, Cassie and Quincy a pairing that can't go wrong.
Great video. We have fond memories of Disney cruises. Our first three cruises, when our boys were young, were Disney. We mainly sail on Royal Caribbean now (half because of price, half because of those Oasis class ships).

What time does pirate party usually start? We have second dining so I just want to make sure that we are able to enjoy the pirate party? (First time disney cruiser)

DCL is the only ones in the world to do fireworks at sea, but if you notice when you leave port on fireworks night, the other ships get closer than at any other time during the cruise. they use the air launch instead of an explosive launch. I believe Disney has a patent on this technology so it is not available to anyone else. I could be wrong though.
