Hi Roger i have just found your channel and I have enjoyed working through them…I would be very interested in a video regarding the various hides that you have constructed. I am in the early stages of creating a photography area on my land and would appreciate your thoughts and input regarding the wooden hides that you have. Kindest Regards Paul
Hi Paul, Thanks for the kind comment. I dont actually have a video on how I constructed the hides. They are not very professional, and my woodworking skills are a bit lacking. Its really just a few bits of wood and screws. Initially , I started off with a one person hide, but after having been at the location for year, I decided to build something bigger. These videos may give you an idea. th-cam.com/video/z4K7iQEd4c8/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/9XJgY7WO0hA/w-d-xo.html
I am looking to buy a camera & lens for my first attempt at bird photography, if you were starting again would you still chose mft and if so why? Thanks for your always interesting videos.
Thanks for commenting. If starting again, I would STILL choose M4T. If I have a regret, its that I did not change sooner. Its lighter, prduces excellent results, and has enabled me to take shots with it that I would never have took with my old sytem. Its also cheaper than full frame . Also, the technology in the OM System/Olympus cameras makes difficult shots very easy. Are you in the UK ?
@@rogerhance5883 Yes I am in the UK, I am visiting Birdfair tomorrow to have another look at camera options. Thanks for your thoughts, pretty more much what I had concluded ... I was just unsure if I would be disappointed in the image detail, its difficult when viewing images on line.
@@robj1366 I have not been dissapointed in the image quality. I regularly print to A3 for camera club competitions, lectures. If the quality was not good enough, I would not be able to do this. I am not going to the bird fair this year, but I know that OM Systems will be there, so it will give you a chance to handle the cameras. As you have not purchased your equipment yet, I can save you a bit of money by giving you a voucher code . I cannot give this here, but if you contact me via the `contact page` on my web site, I can tell you how it works. My web site is www.rogerhancefrps.com
