Nordschleife at night in GT Sport looks absolutely amazing. The lighting effects are incredibly realistic. But Nürburgring is a very hard race imo.
yeah but the HUD in GT is horrible, the one who put the red text that u are low on fuel in the middle of the screen should shot in the head

I´ve watched the 24hrs from 97 - 2002 and it was always absolute weather chaos. Hot sun, thunder and hailstorms. But it was always fun.
I really like the episodes where you only do 1 daily race multiple times. It helps show how you evolve and better understand the track and what people do to defend and attack. Keep up the good work!

Nordschleife at night reminds me of that incredible race on Viperconcept's channel. It was my first full viewing of GT Sport and the nighttime graphics and lighting absolutely impressed me. It looks indistinguishable from real life at night.
Very nice video. The Nordschleife is only 30 kilometers away from my home. So I often watched the ADAC 24 Hours Race there and tourist drivers crashing their cars there at the weekends (3er BMWs mostly).

GT Sport isn't meant to be a mainline GT game, it's kind of a multiplayer-focused spin-off.

There is a trick you could do in that straight line, when you knew you had a bad exit, you should have lifted a little bit and let him overtake as soon as possible, then you could tuck yourself in his slipstream and by the time the straight ends, you'd be ahead. Same thing if you were behind someone so early into the straight, you should lift a little bit to remain behind until halfway through the straight line, then tuck yourself into his slipstream and overtake when it's too late for him to do the same.
Great follow and great overtaking by the german at the end. He probably actually didn't miss shift, rather he planed when to go flat out to overtake you ideally. So intense:)

I'm not sure but the winner of the last race from Czech Republic is probably on of the best drivers in this game. He is always on top of best laps list on every daily race.

Once you saw the difference going up at the last straight, you should have pulled to the side as it would delay his slipstream gains just enough for you to hold 2nd. I think. :P

had this race been in the GT Enduro hopper on Forza, there'd have been a 16 car crash at T1/2, only 4 cars would actually finish the race with 1min end-of-race timer, and JSR South would be at the front setting a new WR

Watching a night race on the ring is making the wait for Assetto Corsa Competizione UNBEARABLE. The graphics engine of GT looks so amazing though, I hope ACC looks half that good. And the sparks! Stunning looking game, GT

If you make a mistake and get off the track and lose several places ... you will be punished with a time penalty into the abyss, but if you sweep the car in front of you completely off the track, nothing happens.

Might have been tempted to lift early on the long straight to use the draft but might not have been easy to come back on that Vette as it has a pretty good top end relative to most cars in Gr3.

At 1:40 I think 5th place got a penalty for extending after the previous turn. It took its sweet time giving the penalty on it.

Nice video, but I think you can improve a lot on the ring by just following 2 rules:
1.Respect the curbs! don't go up on them as they unsettle the car and have a big chance of spinning you off.
2.Don't brake so hard on the fast corners! most of them only need off throttle, which is much better for the car as it doesn't unsettle it as much.
With almost all the fast corners you tap the brake hard, while it is totally not needed! just go half or off throttle for less than a second and you can keep much more speed going into the next sections!

This is just my track and the right time. I would destroy everyone else in it!
I think the only way you could have kept the position at the end there was by backing off at the beginning of the straight and using his slipstream to re-pass. Slipstream is still a little too powerful. I appreciate it encourages overtaking by being a psuedo-DRS; but it gets a little ridiculous in a race. Especially when people are slaloming on straights to try and desperately break it. A percent or two less would be ideal, in my opinion. Great race at the end though!

tire wear surpringsly low for such a long track. probably coulda got away with intermediate tires, or even softs if you're easy on them.
