This is crazy for me to see all these military trailers here, because I work at the company that made a lot of them. Especially the first tan ones they loaded at 3:34. We've made so many trailers like this that just end up in a warehouse somewhere for YEARS, then just get sold as surplus, yet these things are heavy duty aluminum tube framed trailers with a hydraulic shock. its honestly funny how often we get calls from some random guy who bought one of our trailers from a surplus sale/auction and are asking for some technical support while they gut it to use in some project.

Dave! Dave! I watch these episodes in complete joy, sometimes I worry about the safety and how they do things, I suggest Dave gets a motor home set up to be used at sites for security whilst doing stuff like this but also as a mobile first aid station, especially when working remote, giving the guys a fall back station which would also be used for lunch room and sleeping and of course toilets. At least it would be somewhere with all the emergency stuff that may be needed, You deal with high-pressure oil and I have seen what happens when oil leaks out or hydraulic lines go. A friend lost his hand when a line burst and the oil jet was like a laser cutter Fortunately a hospital (and a Helicopter) were close by. A big-arse RV setup would be a great addition to the team.
Damn that’s a good lick! He’s actually undervaluing almost everything. This stuff is easily worth 4 times more than he’ll have in it , including transportation and the tune up cost. I personally would find a very well known equipment auction and put one of each item he has several of just to see what happens while it’s still warm outside, that $50k will come back so quick Great job dude
Once the deal was struck, I would have put one of the crew up there in a travel trailer or motor home to keep an eye on things. I too would hate to leave and worry some rando comes on the property or the seller decides just to "grab a few things" after he realizes he sold too low.
With all the “will it run” videos, you guys should make a fuel module that can hold about 5 gallons of diesel that has a fuel pump and filter system? Maybe a return line with filter to keep trash from returning fuel? Plus a “power pack module with two large fully charged batteries “!! Make them “plug and play “, I think that you would get a lot of use out of it.
$50,000 for the stuff + payroll for your guys + movement of equipment + what ever permits + insurance + other miscellaneous costs = you might make out ok in the end.
Anyone notice the DP oil with 'Daves' faces on it; Dave really knows how to do branding. Hardworking guys, real entrepreneurs, deserve all their success.

This video is quite insightful on how Dave's business works and how extensive it has become. You often see the shop, the hangar, the area around the shop, and the vehicles, like snapshots of the whole operation. I wondered where all the stuff from recoveries went or if it has already been sold. Now I know. 😅 I hope a lot of the machines and vehicles find buyers and will be used again in the foreseeable future. In my opinion, rebuilding and repairing such equipment is an important part of sustainability. This might turn into one of the most interesting video series for me personally.
Yep they even said in the first video the guys was selling everything together because he could not sell pieces. Wonder who the person is going to be that buys all of Dave's crap in 20 years for 1/4 the price he paid.
What makes it all even cooler, is that it's all military I think. Just from being military, a lot of buyers will pay more money for that. There's a lot of military collectors out there. But having D knows how to do it right! You don't sit on this stuff and wait to find out if you can get more money, you get rid of it as fast as you can to make a profit so that way you can make more of a turnover. Why sit on something for a year that might sell for $20,000, when you could sell it the next day for six or $7000, and do it multiple times. That's the smart thing to do. I'm a new subscriber, and i gotta say watching you guys is kind of soothing for some reason. 🙂
Investing in various sources of income that are independent of the government should be the most essential thing on everyone's mind right now. especially in light of the global economic crisis at the moment. We use pumps that size at our sand pit to keep the water low so we can dig sand off the bottom. Our pit is currently 75ft deep, about 1/2mi long, and 1/4 mile wide. And we're still digging...
That dry-prime pump: those are used a lot for construction site dewatering. Drive lots of wellpoints at the site, piping manifold system to tie all the wellpoints. Pump should have a vane type vacuum pump to keep neg pressure in those suction lines/well points. Anywhere the water table is high those pump systems are used.
Those M1100/M1101 cargo trailers can be had on Gov Planet for about 2500. They have 12 pin connectors that are easily coverted over to 4/7 pin or buy the adaptor for about 100.00 and youre ready to go. You'll have no issue selling those trailers....They are kind of a sought after item for those of us looking for overlanding trailers who don't have 60k to blow.
crane outriggers have specialized valves in the cylinder. they require pressure to a pilot port to allow them to raise. this is done to prevent loss of support in the event of a line failure
Some of this stuff will surely find a home with the Wizard.. I am sure Brent would be interested in some stuff too. I a glad you are doing these videos like this, explaining what happens to some of the stuff you guys buy has been something your community has been crying out to see. So good on you. Show us it all. The good, bad and disappointing...
You really need a portable hydraulic system that you can connect to cylinders attached to non-running equipment to change their positions. Detach the hoses from the equipment and then attach them to to the portable system (will need a selection of adapters for various connections) so the portable system can do things like raise those outriggers quickly and easily.
The portable fire prevention systems, maybe the wizard could get 1 or 2 of them for his compound, one for the shed and one for the main housing. Even if it isn't totally needed, it could prevent a disaster like the fire that broke out.
I work for FEMA. All I have to say is, we might want those fire suppression systems back. That’s the Operations and Logistics divisions call tho. Not my department. Not sure why they’d let those go in the first place if I’m being honest. Especially if they were brand new. We generally like to use the stuff we buy. Not sure how these got away from us. Logistics probably had a reason tho.
The fittings in the water pump are called bauer fittings. If you guys weren't aware, they should be fairly easy to find at your local industrial hose shop. If you can't find them, I've got contacts in the industry that I can set you guys up with.
What a haul!?! You can always tell when scrap prices are low. You local pick a part junkyard stacks up it's cars that are already stripped and stored them. When scrap prices are up those stacks disappear in a hurry.
I live in Colorado surrounded by lodgepole pine forest. Forest fire is one of our biggest fears. Those fire suppression units would bring so much peace of mind.
you could buy a paint booth and master equipment painting to make look new again. Or take it to area technical schools to be refurbished/rebuilt as teaching tools till metal prices cum back up.
You need to press the tattle tale button when cranking on that godwin cd150. The hoses are bauer fittings and are readily available. I have worked in the rental equipment industry for a long time and spent 4 years working for godwin

Filming everything and posting it is a good way to get exposure and revenue.. He is an inspiration for everyone who can relate to needing help. Heck, even I hope to have help from a friend like him someday.
Basically what I was thinking like ok lol just makes it sound like he’s ripping people off or has to double or triple the money
The best part is returning this beautiful field to its natural state.
I bet the folks from the surrounding area are happy to see all that gone. I get that it's not all junk, but it sure looks junky surrounded by all that beauty.
Man, sure would like to work for Dave or any boss that actually gets his hands dirty and dives in with his men. Respect
Agree 100% you can tell he would be a great boss after a while probably feel like family to be honest
@@oldscoolcooldiecast1879 for sure
I love how honest Hans is about D's plans and the way he operates equipment. My boss has a similar approach, haha.
Dave out there just moving a couple LBS of steel. When Dave buys a LOT, it’s A LOT!
Is that an offroad honda element in your profile pic? As a jeep and element owner I really wish I could stuff my jeep drivetrain under my element chassis for the ultimate offroad camping vehicle😂
Yeah .Dave I wouldn't be talking about money man .. people can get real stupid and show up at your door not just shop!!! I know
I love it, y'all are living the life everyone should. You spend your time helping others and genuinely caring enough to try, yet you live well. God bless y'all.
Nice to see an Australian cattle dog running around free. Great dog if you can match energy and don't mind barking.
like Poppy, on Casey’s recovery.
The mini rock crusher would be used for a small hand dug operation in gold recovery. It would crush the rocks small enough to go through a tumbler and sorter. Seen videos on it. Guy went and grabbed 15 5 gallon buckets of material and crushed it enough to grab 400 dollars in gold for a few hours labor. Couldn’t have been done without that little work horse. They work amazing.
If this series of videos isn't an endorsement for Sany, then I don't know what is. That machine is a beast.
Best China has to offer.
Alan needs one of those things for his mountain building no more worry about fires
I'm probably never going to buy or own anything like this in my life 🙃 but holy cow do I find this all so dam interesting I mean I'm stoned out of my head but this feels like a good way to spend my time lo
I just dumped a fat load in my neighbors wife while he ran out to get us more beer! 😂
the engine from the orange water pump is most likely getting water into the oil so it probably needs new orings around the piston sleeves, actually pretty common around those type of engines.
Man what a cool pile of stuff , you’ll find out there’s a reason you often see these items laying in someone’s land (kinda like Alan !) nobody wants to pay transport fees , and like the rest of us are learning , stuff isn’t selling and usually not worth half of what you think . Hence the common site of auctions buys sitting , wasting space losing value . Liquidation liquidity liquidate immediately before the rodents hear bugs and thieves get in ❤ you guys rock ! Love your spirit
Must be exhausting being in this game
I just dumped a fat load in my neighbors wife while he ran out to get us more beer! 😂
You guys have almost everything you need for a bug out shelter, the foam boards can be used as insulation for the shelter it's self, if I lived over there and had money I'd nut job at a lot of that stuff. 🙂
Got anything a disabled old lady can make a drivable home from at a huge discount? The tent just isn't cutting it. Designation for Spring, Mayo in Arizona...oh, anything for Alan's compound? Luv ya, love your channel❣️ 🚁🚟🚤🚛📽️⚒️🛣️
I’m here again to watch the crew do what you do❤
Man I just can't get over all the nice brand new looking military equipment quite impressive just how good of condition that stuff is in 😍
Diesel Dave is such an amazing person!!!!!
Piper seems like such a nice person while also waving all the red flags of being a bot. Are we in a new Era of confusion on the internet where the bots smother us with kindness instead of trying to scam people or call them racist during the pandemic?😂

The reason you get such great blessings is because you help so many and give back/Pay it forward.
Thanks D.Bros. you make this a better place to live! Or at least Utah and the surrounding areas!
Running that cummins on straight ether may not be good for the top end.
Dave will buy anything usful if it’s half off the price … regardless if he is ever gonna use it or not 😂
Dave!
The courage to accept risk and then manage that risk can really pay off!
Oh wow. Have you dated a super model too ? 👍🤘
When you have a heeler involved everything has to be more exciting!!
Yeah I liked my own comment. I am a blue heeler fan, never will have another breed.
I would love to be a part of a organization of great things these guys do. Dedication at outs finest
Damn that’s a good lick! He’s actually undervaluing almost everything. This stuff is easily worth 4 times more than he’ll have in it , including transportation and the tune up cost. I personally would find a very well known equipment auction and put one of each item he has several of just to see what happens while it’s still warm outside, that $50k will come back so quick
Great job dude
I believe this Chanel should get more views
Over 3 million subs
I wish he made shorter videos. 20 mins at most.
@@Corpstlonger videos*
Well hell, I watched it twice, what more can I do????
I really like it when you guys do a rescue and recovery better...
Once the deal was struck, I would have put one of the crew up there in a travel trailer or motor home to keep an eye on things. I too would hate to leave and worry some rando comes on the property or the seller decides just to "grab a few things" after he realizes he sold too low.
I agree on both ideas.
You cant trust anyone these days!
I'm sure Brent could use that rock crusher up on the mountain.
Go away
I can't believe how you bring back to life all those old engines... wizard stuff 😀👍💪
$50,000 for the stuff + payroll for your guys + movement of equipment + what ever permits + insurance + other miscellaneous costs = you might make out ok in the end.
lol. It’s video content that pays the bills. Ad revenue….
Plus the TH-cam add revenue! Thats the difference!!
Anyone notice the DP oil with 'Daves' faces on it; Dave really knows how to do branding. Hardworking guys, real entrepreneurs, deserve all their success.
Keep it up Heavy D the videos are great 👍
Where there's muck, there's brass. You fellas showing this side of things shows us all two things.
You work hard.
You are not "just" a youtuber.
Be good play nice, keep rolling on.
The question I have is how much will Alan take or want to add at his compound out of this stuff lol
This video is quite insightful on how Dave's business works and how extensive it has become.
You often see the shop, the hangar, the area around the shop, and the vehicles, like snapshots of the whole operation. I wondered where all the stuff from recoveries went or if it has already been sold. Now I know. 😅
I hope a lot of the machines and vehicles find buyers and will be used again in the foreseeable future.
In my opinion, rebuilding and repairing such equipment is an important part of sustainability.
This might turn into one of the most interesting video series for me personally.
Sounds like a great business plan, spend 20 years buying stuff at the auction then sell it for 10% of what you paid for it
Yep they even said in the first video the guys was selling everything together because he could not sell pieces. Wonder who the person is going to be that buys all of Dave's crap in 20 years for 1/4 the price he paid.
Admire how well you all work as a team; evaluating, prioritising, repairing, loading and getting stuff done without cutting corners.
Why don't you have one of your guys sleep overnight in a truck blocking the entrance, if you were worried about someone stealing stuff overnight?
I have $560,000 sitting in savings searching for the best method to enter these markets. This is still an excellent moment to invest in equities, gold, silver, and digital currencies.
Something I've learned from my first bear market:
You don't have to outperform, just survive. If you can survive and let your competitors blow up you'll be the only one left and in a better position than before.
@@JosephMcEntee99 Building a good financial-portfolio is more complex so I would recommend vou seek professional support. This way you can get strategies designed to address your unique long-term goals and financial dreams.
Working with a professional to develop a well-structured investing portfolio is a wonderful approach to get started. That's why I've been working on my dealings with "Mayra Femia Hetrick". Because most traders enter the market with the intention of making a quick 10% to 20% profit, I've learnt to remain patient with the market. They miss out on the massive gains since it trades at a P/E ratio of 40-50.
@@leonardives1991 Glad to have stumbled on this conversation. Please can you leave the info of your investment-advisor here? I'm in dire need for one.
Mayra discusses topics like insurance, retirement planning, investing, insurance, tax benefits, and techniques to reduce investment risk volatility. numerous instances of that. Just Google her complete name to see what it says. Finding her shouldn't be difficult because she is highly recognized.
I had one of those high pressure military diesel air compressors and had a heck of a time getting $1k for it. You're a very optimistic person 😅
Watching you work on this military gear brings back memories. I spent years working on this stuff at Tooele army depot.

crane outriggers have specialized valves in the cylinder. they require pressure to a pilot port to allow them to raise. this is done to prevent loss of support in the event of a line failure
21:13 this tire inflating technique is so absurd and amazing, never gets old to see
You really need a portable hydraulic system that you can connect to cylinders attached to non-running equipment to change their positions. Detach the hoses from the equipment and then attach them to to the portable system (will need a selection of adapters for various connections) so the portable system can do things like raise those outriggers quickly and easily.
Portable hvac unit is a great setup for cooling in the summer time. + The portable air compressor can be use for rescue setup rig
Considering Allen’s house burned down, I would suggest a few of those fires suppression units go to him.
The portable fire prevention systems, maybe the wizard could get 1 or 2 of them for his compound, one for the shed and one for the main housing. Even if it isn't totally needed, it could prevent a disaster like the fire that broke out.
Your Sany is the ultimate MVP to this entire operation every video involves it.
Dave, you should get with Brent up at Cerra Gordo, see if he could use one or two of those fire supression units for his new hotel.
