Exactly. That's what we need. All respect to this great expansion kit, but we need the instruments to make it ourselves. The synths are there, but can be improved towards funky sounds and we need vocoder and talkbox effects (cuz what's in there now doesn't cut it).

That was 🔥🔥🔥!!! I have a funk track that feels unfinished and I was thinking about adding a Talk Box. Vocoders don't quite cut it. Definitely some unique sounds in funk. I'm still newish to music production and remember having to figure out what that boiiing sound was (flexatone)...lol Zapp and Roger (RIP) were amazing. #ComputerLove

My immediate thought was "Akai must be announcing a new MPC soon as they've got Andy in to shift surplus stock" but a new expansion is ok I guess. Shame the metronome is so loud over this track. Great performance though 🔥

@@wm1573 it's not needed. Just made me wonder why Andy was on the sofa with an MPC. A new expansion is cool if that's your thing but yeah I'd be happy with bug fixes for my Force over expansions any day. Would love a new internal synth too. Not sure what that would be but maybe one with far more control over the LFO. Being able to assign one/two/three to some of the synth parameters would be so amazing. Visual feedback of what's going on. Like Overbridge by Elektron 🙏🏻

@@rastabusiness3417 there’s allot of factors bro. The patch, the Amp, the EQ from the patch and your technique. Jack’s releasing another video soon where I breakdown the set up in depth. This will help u bro.

Even though I don't use an MPC, as a musician I know MPC users probably wouldn't put in the work to achieve this type of sound or beat without the samples offered to them, already curated. Keep Funkin tho👌

If you think about it....electro funk boogie what have you. Was created DURING the microprocessor era. Meaning
Sequential Circuits Prophet 5, Oberheim OB-X etc etc. sure there was some studio craft involved, and knowing how to play a 2/5/1 over a funk beat wouldn’t hurt. But these machines were PRESET machines, most of the iconic sounds we associate with the genre were created by outside programmers. Also Babyface/Jam&Lewis composed on MPCs they seemed to have done okay for “typical MPC users😊😊
@@ronrobins3513 the samples the pack is offering is already created ....yes jam and Lewis created their own.
I use an mpcx and i use to to make funk. Either with vst’s or real instruments.
Some of the biggest producers/musicians that make funk or gfunk use mpc’s.
It’s REALLY GOOD FOR FUNK
