      @@IosifStalin2 If you study etymology... you will discover ancient languages are FAR MORE advanced, mathematical, scientific and structured than modern languages - where every syllable and letter carry not only meaning but also association to numbers and even elements.
      If human language can be proven to be far more advanced going backwards... what would that say of civilisations?

      I am 70 years old and still I would love to move to Indonesia also. But not aware of immigration complexities. Always fearful about the immigration complexities in any foreign country.

    Yes, we albanians have had tough time with secularism (strong communism) but nowadays Alhamdulilah muslims are getting into track of Islam especially with internet revolution of "Digital Dawah".We muslim have some great scholars of Islam, and their lectures are getting great results.

      Also, the Seerah series of Dr.Yasir Qadhi i have watched them completely, inthere as we know Umar ibn Al-Khattab is one the key figures among the Sahabah.

      @@hassanmirza2392 I often hear the phrase Western Muslims. I want to hear your opinion on this. I find that western Muslims are doing a lot better than the Muslims in Muslim majority countries.
      Just saying as someone who recently traveled to those countries and was shocked by what I saw. What's your thought?

      ALL the prophets are Muslims & ALL were given the ONE MESSAGE which is “there is no deity except Allah”. The prophets through divine revelation were given guidance by Allah to guide mankind. Most of the guidance were verbally & some were written down (ex. The ORIGINAL Tawrat, Injil, Zabur) (The Arabic Nobel Quran).

    Bro Paul. One of the far right politicians Sheikh Murad helped with finding Islam is the Dutch far right politician Joram van Klaveren. Perhaps its an idea to get him on your channel. He will for sure want to do an episode with you. Maybe we can hear more of his views on theology, religions and philosophy instead of his superficial conversion story in his other public interviews.

      It is not the convert that makes best muslim. It is the willingness to let go and grow organically that has deeper impact. Not all convert can let go of their previous version or habit that stifles growth just as many born into the faith have the courage to walk away from negative aspects of culture (disconnected from time and space) that they originate form.

      Professor TJ Winter is unique that he comes from a modern secular educational establishment and Has the intellectual ability to bridge the classical tradition. There are other intellectual but none come close. I may not agree with all of his views in some other areas of islam but he is an unique gem and an asset to islam in the 20th century particularly in the west. May Allah preserve him.

    Salaams from South Africa 🇿🇦…….. I had the opportunity of sitting next to sheik Abdul hakeem muraad in South Africa 🇿🇦 a few years ago . I asked him that how is it that his translation of the book 📕 of death ofi imam ghazali is so long as the Ihya ulum ud deen is 40 books 📚 not so lengthy 4 books 📚 translation by al haj Fazlul Kareem. Timothy Winter told me he translates the full book … an amazing intellectual and a great Sufi …. Someone spoke to him harshly… he answered with extreme composure… i was extremely happy to meet him as I have been studying Abu Hameed’s books 📚 since young … I’m now fifty years old trying to read as much as possible in various fields aqeeda fiqh hadeeth usul ul fiqh tafseer seerah maqasid and Sufism. Enjoy your journey of knowledge.

    From what I've seen, the Cambridge Mosque is beautiful. I've listened to some of Sheikh Murad's 'sermons', which I found to be very calming, but thought provoking also.

    A calm, almost quietist approach. Also ecumenical: the courage to defend tradition is something that goes across the board for all faiths. My impression was of someone who accepted Islam but refused to nail their colours to any of the denominations within it, or kinds of popular polemicism.

Muslim theosophers also lack charisma sadly aside from general insights and worldly knowledge. It is quite entertaining to see an anglo guy lecturing about Islam to a room full of dark or brown-skinned men.

    I still remember how Joram Van Klaveren (ex anti Islam member of Dutch Parlimen) starting point journey to Islam after read the book from Prof Abdal Hakim.. May Allah gives undoubtedly rewards to him.

    Asalam Alaikum Paul. You know about 20 yrs ago , Ashfaq Ahmed sahab a great author from Pakistan said something that I remember so vividly. He said Islam will rise again from the West. They will study it and practice it correctly. We , people of the East are followers. Listening to you reminds me of Ashfaq Sahab. May Allah bless him with Jannat ul firdous.     I won’t wait until the end. You don’t disappoint. After the unusually lengthy introduction (he needs no introduction of course) you give him plenty of breathing space. Well done, The Murray book is “The Strange Death of Europe” BTW. Your observation of him is astute. It’s interesting how we agree with the right on values, but they see us a threat, whereas we disagree with the left on values but they don’t currently see us as a threat, so long as we don’t oppose each other openly on ideology. Well done on exploring difficult subjects with important people. It’s great to watch.

    I haven’t even begun to watch this video and I immediately hit the like button. I’ll have to watch it tomorrow inshallah when I get some free time. Sheikh Murad is someone I deeply respect and I’m so pleased to see that he’s made it on this channel.

      Ustaad Abdal Hakim is a great teacher, he has very good lectures up on TH-cam. Hamza Yusuf is another good scholar with a similar style to Abdal you may enjoy listening to.
