It's really helpful to rent one here because it allows you so much freedom and convenient transportation around basically everywhere. But you need to be really careful on the road because it's also very dangerous, especially in SE Asia due to crazy traffic conditions.

Try using the back break as an accelerator when taking off. Also use 2 fingers to cover your brakes
