I wish more people knew about Enigk's solo albums. They are all fantastic.

The Fire Theft is one of the best unknown treasure albums of all time. Period. The songs break my heart and fill me with such joy at the same time. Very unfortunate that I have not had the chance to see Jeremy live yet :(
I was fortunate enough to not only see Jeremy Enigk live in 2008, I also got to see Sunny Day Real Estate for their reunion tour in 2009. Probably the best concerts I have ever been to. I really want to catch Enigk again someday, but something always comes up :D

The Fire Theft was one of my favorite concerts. I got to meet Jeremy.
He is probably one of the most underrated artists out there, along with The Fire Theft. His songs made me explore my emotions as a teenager.

Had the absolute honor of seeing Jeremy perform solo in Indianapolis a while back. Such a profound artist. I hope he keeps touring and making new music.
this album will go through many renaissances over the next 300 years.
SDRE was my favorite band in college and later on Sleater Kinney rocked my socks. I later found out that Jeremy Enigk helped Carrie Brownstein learn to play guitar and I thought that was just so cool :)

Ok, so anyone who has taken time from their day to watch this performance by Jeremy and crew playing, you're fans of him, and already know that Jeremy is a very special person, with a gifted voice who came out of the womb with an old soul, does anyone know the meaning behind "Lizard " ?
As a huge SDRE fan, I've never gotten into his solo stuff, but the conversation he has here makes me think I am missing out on something magical. Looks like it's time I dive in.
