Once got butted by a sheep whilst in Isle of Man. Slowed down to slowly pass sheep and a lamb, and one little bugger was hiding behind a bush and pounced when I was in striking distance..
A short video but most enjoyable...sheep are a constant potential problem especially on that stretch of road, if their heads are down and they are eating them chances are they will stay put, if not then take care ! That is a stretch of road I know all too well and it was great to re-visit it..
It's definitely not just live stock, by the traffic lights there, there's a sign and some of the dry stone wall is down, i pulled that down after being first on scene to a bike accident, the air paramedics couldn't get the stretcher over the wall... Bikes get bikes in trouble sometimes.
Yes they certainly do, how was the person you assisted? I once came across a horse rider on this stretch of road who had been thrown from her horse after a car passed her too closely and spooked her horse. I just saw some flapping hi viz in the dip to the nearside, below the level of the road. I stopped the car and much to my surprise there was a lady who had been there some time and who couldn't move. No phone signal so managed to get some assistance from a local farmhouse whilst my wife comforted the lady, they suspected they knew who the woman was so rang her boyfriend who then turned up with his father. The ambulance was incredibly quick at getting there considering how isolated the location is, thankfully she made a full recovery. 👍
Yeah Steve. Your back. I was going to message you yesterday 21/8/24. As not heard or seen you for a week or two.. But I thought no… I’ll not impose on you. You’re sounding well mate.. great to see you out and about… 👍👍
@@greengoblindave Thanks, this is an old video from early last year I dug out of the archives as I’ve been too busy recently to find time to get out on the bike. How’s things with you?
@@701Adventures ah. Okay well good video 👍 Good you been busy. Things with me pretty much the same. Just working. My backs a bit sore at the moment. Misses got me sorting out back room this weekend 😂… got the Harley and had a ride in that one day.. And back in work 😏
@@701Adventures nah only working. Yes I’m happy with the HD. I’m just waiting for a heal shifter to arrive to help with the foot drop. Other than that it looks great sounds great and rides great 👍👍👍 Have you had any luck with your bike mate ?
@@ConciergeMed Hi, no I didn’t have any towing issues, there are pro’s & cons to each option. The van obviously offers more security and discretion for the bike when parked up at Services etc but obviously the trailer is a much cheaper alternative. But no I never had any issues while towing the bike at all and the Motolug trailer served me while I owned it. 👍
I’m not sure why but TH-cam has deleted a few of my responses to the comments which have been left. Perhaps it’s due to the subject matter, I don’t know?

Hey Steve, good ride out, always a shame when animals have to suffer from human ignorance ye 👋😔👍
Nice video Steve. Sheep are always unpredictable so if you see them, slow down. Ask me how I know 😁.

Nice vid. Forgot to ask previously, why did you sell your trailer and opt for a van? Did you have any towing issues? Thanks.
