Great review but as a collector since the early HT days...I am really tired of hearing "how many of these do we need?" I understand it is a business for content creators and maybe you get these at a discount, but as a normal guy (who admittedly owns maybe 50 HT) I have limited space so the answer is ONE haha. Just my opinion and to each their own...but I feel like that mindset drives some out of the sixth scale market

Great review as always! I already was a fan of the ROTJ sculpt they used on this one, but I think it works even better here as a more uncertain/less seasoned Luke like we see him in Empire.

that helmet has some outstanding detail! I think that magnetic piece will stick to a spot on the base with a coinciding magnet. Looking forward to seeing your review of the classic Iron Man. thanks Ryan!

I've just started down the slippery slope of collecting Hot Toys. In the last couple of days I've bought the Mando and Grogu deluxe, and this iconic figure.
Thank you for another fantastic unboxing and review. Also, the warning on donning the helmet with the chin strap. I'll try to secure the strap between the cap and the inside of the helmet. Overall, the figure looks incredible and comes with a number of accessories. I have two on order and will probably arrive before the Jazzinc Dioramas Snowspeeder.
Wow I'm glad I watched this video. I'm getting mine on Wednesday and I'll be looking for that small blemish on the chin strap because I do plan on posing Luke wearing his helmet. With all that said... this figure is absolutely stunning! Can't wait!

Glad you are happy with this figure, by far my favored look for Luke (being both a motorcyclist and aviation enthusiast this look just makes sense). Just pretend your scrape incident was a burn mark from his nosedive into the ground and trying to save Dak!
I just got this. It’s awesome. The chinstrap I think looks better fitting between the liner and the helmet anyway. That also avoids the issue you had. Also, the gun cartridge belt in his leg should be put down all the way to the top of the boot. It’s attached with Velcro so it’s easy to do.
You Don't put the chin strap inbetween the face and skull cap, you put the chin strap inbetween the skull cap and helmet as the chin stap is part of the helmet not the skull cap, that's why you got the black mark, watch the scene from the film and you will see Luke wearing the chin strap inbetween the skull cap and helmet.
Congrats! ..i will displaying mine with the helmet on. Since i pre_ordered mine from Sideshow Collectibles (big mistake) i will probably have to wait another 3, 4, 5 months? who knows? ..i only just received the Hot Toys Golden Armor Wonder Woman from them.

I really want Hoth Luke and Han. I didn’t get the Sideshow versions and now I regret it. Also a Tauntaun as well. Lol.. I couldn’t get that Hoth battle diorama you have in the background when it was first released either and boy is it super pricey now.

Unfortunately you fell into the trap of Hot Toys instructions. The chinstrap is placed between the bumper and the helmet, since the chinstrap is the fastening of the helmet to the head and not the bumper that already has its neck strap. It is a concept failure on the part of Hot Toys. And it is clear that the chinstrap is fixed on the helmet to pose the figure without the post that should hang as part of the helmet. Another Hot Toys design flaw. But also the chinstrap is whole white seen in ESB scenes. So HT white chinstrap is right but SSC chinstrap in not accurate cause black strap is hidden. Take care of these advices if anyone wants to have an accurate figure of SSC and HT. But SSC black strap could be hidden painting white or taping it over. SSC ANH Luke version made the chinstrap as part of the helmet so this was accurate cause you could pose the figure with the helmet in hand and hanging the chinstrap. That was the best accurate helmet made by SSC and HT. But as i said before, ESB Luke versions of SSC and HT have mistakes and wrong designs and details.

The Hoth scenes were my favorite moments in any of the movies. Great looking figure.

With mine I put the strap in between the cap and the helmet so that it didn’t touch the headsculpt

Looks great, except for the tyPical Hot Toys tan grayish skin tones. Would be perfect for Dwayne Johnson, not Mark Hammil.
