Classic car buddy, dont sell it like others have said.Keep it, and drive it only on weekends. She's a beauty. Whatever decision you make, good luck to you.👍
I'm with you 100% on that, but it may be that he is in a financial situation where he needs to sell it. Very sad, but hopefully whoever buys it, keeps it original and takes good care of it for the next buyer. Me personally, I'd never sell. I'd keep till till the day I die. Then after I'm gone, my family can sell it then.
@@tonymontana897 John is working on another project at the moment and just does not drive this enough and when he takes it out always watching the car for people touching it and denting panels at car parks etc. He want someone else to enjoy it more now.
My HJ GTS looked different to that, no sunroof, no power steering, no spoilers, proper GTS rims,, ariel on the front, different seat trim, no rubber or "stops" on the bumpers, steering wheel had a GTS emblem in the centre, this looks like a kingswood with gts options. Not knocking it, would liked to have seen the compliance plate, see what code it had.
definitely a Monaro GTS as its all over the purchase book and plates, dealers sell sheet and more. He just had different options added and the dealers may have changed things as they usually did too.
Mate…don’t sell it! You will regret it. I bought an original one owner HK GTS back in 1990….drove it around as a daily and sold it 4 years later thinking I would get something newer. I regret selling it more than anything.
@@AussieGarage Space was an issue. Not anymore, but can’t afford the cars!🤣 Imagine this, I knew this car since primary school in 78. Walked up to the Monaro guy’s house in 89. He told me to come back the following year, paid $3300 for a 1 owner car. It was only the 186s 4 speed but it easily beat my mates HG GTS 253 auto.😂 I’m actually a Skyline guy now, keeping the Bathurst dream alive…🤖
Lov😢ed these cars as a kid in the 70's. Never knew you could option it with a sunroof.
What an Absolutely Beautiful Car 🍻
It sure is!
Awesome story
Glad you liked it

There definitely would not be many at all

Mate nice car but your really going to regret selling it. it would be like selling one of your Kids.
I won't sell my first car never could
nice car mste
Would auction sale be better for the seller?
It is a thought he would consider if he can not sell it himself.
145k for a HJ, with a sunroof? Please… 🥴
Be lucky to see 80-90k on a good day.
Nice car all the same.
Hi, is this car still for sale?
Yes as far as I know. We saw him about a month ago and he still had it.
Don't sell it mate just drive it till the end
My mate bought this car and put in a rotary
Thats a fail
I thought a manaro is a two door coupe
Not all were coups. There were 4 door versions in HQ HJ HX HZ.
Sunroof would be no good for me - I'd get a burnt head 😝
haha
Price ????
He wants around the 145k mark for the car and is it worth it

I am with you, I would just keep collecting if I could

FKN gold car lucky bloke
What’s he after $$?
I think around 145K
Is this bloke speeding?
No, we make sure on driving screen the driver abides by the speed limits at all times.
@@AussieGarage Not that kinda speeding.....
What a heap of junk
Why! Show some respect it is a beautiful car.
Stay off the drugs son.
@derhampaul2182 what a gronk you are
if the car is not your bag that cool, but the owner has done a lot of work on the vehicle and its great to see 1 owner cars still out there,
Beautiful car, but too scared to park it.. That's ridiculous
That part of the reason why is selling it, to scared to take it out
