When you take a hard rock number like this and slow it down and make it acoustic, you quickly discern for better or worse the complexity of the song and quality of the group. It’s no surprise, watching this, that Wolf Alice became over the ensuing nine years such a remarkable artistic and commercial success and so damn fun to watch, particularly at Glastonbury in 2016.
Every time they play live, they do slightly to moderately different versions of their songs. It goes to show they have a complete grasp of every songs essential musicality. They are f'ing bosses.
I like this version, especially the vocals. The van is cool too.
